A well run comfortable hotel just 3kms from the famous ruins. Great pool and wi-fi everywhere. Thecrestaurant menu could be expanded, not much choice

Staff is excellent, and you are only either 20 pesos from the ruins or right on the edge of town.

“Calm, cool, clean and convenient to ruins”

A real pleasant surprise. We arrived early, tired, hot and dusty and staff went out of their way to help and got us a room earlier than check-in which gave us time to refresh before exploring Chichen Itza ruins. Really appreciated.

“A pleasant overnight stopover”

An unpretentious, laid-back & friendly hotel. Rooms fairly basic but comfortable. Pleasant pool & sitting out area. We ate breakfast in the hotel & found this good value.

“Peaceful in Piste”

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was a nice, quiet little hotel. After the crowds at Chichen Itza all we wanted was to cool off with a swim and to lie in the sun with a book, this was perfect. The staff were friendly and spoke reasonable english. It would have been nice to be able to charge food and drinks back to the room, but this wasn't too much of an inconvenience. The hotel is pretty basic, but we had everything we needed. Be careful where you park your vehicle. We parked under a tree and found our car absolutely covered with bird droppings in the morning.

There aren't many places to pick from in Piste, this hotel worked fine. The biggest selling point was the friendly staff. The food was so-so, and the beds were hard, but the room was clean and quiet and met my needs.

Clean, friendly and on the doorstep of one of the new 7th Wonders of the World! Much more inviting than one of the pseudo-hotels at the site itself! Thank you Expedia!

“Enchanting Oasis”

Hotel Chichen Itza is a lovely place to stay. The room was large, well appointed, the bathroom has to be one of the largest I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The water pressure in the shower was stunning. The restaurant dinner menu was a mix of local and western food. We opted for a local dish and were delighted. The buffet lunch was superb and accompanied with a performance of a local dance with beautiful costumes.
