“Nice hotel but...”

Hotel was nice but too far from anything. If your taking a taxi into Rosemont or O Hare expect to pay $25.00- $35.00 one way fare not incl. tip. Taxi's were not happy driving that far away from downtown or airport. Many drivers were not familiar with directions getting there either. A hotel shuttle would have been nice to the airport, (7 miles away)but they did not offer that. Get yourself a rental car. Much less costly.

“A very nice place, had a very nice time with 2 young kids”

I went to Chicago with my kids age 8 and 5 for Legoland and American Girl Cafe Brunch. This hotel was pretty close to Legoland for my son, and a 4 star hotel, which my discerning daughter requested. So we went to Legoland Saturday then checked into the hotel Saturday evening. The hotel was great- rooms were perfect, restaurant was good, staff was helpful and friendly to kids. But we wanted to use the pool and are early risers. The front desk said the hotel would be open at 5:30 am. Well we got up Sunday morning and went to the pool, but it was not open until 8 am, so we couldn't swim this trip :-(. Kids were disappointed. We went to American Girl Cafe, about 40 minutes away, Sunday morning. Wonderful trip!

“Nice Hotel”

The Westin Northwest has a lovely atrium which gives it an open air feel. The fresh, live plants are a nice touch. The soaps in the bathroom smelled wonderful, the bed was very comfortable. The housekeeping and bell staff were very helpful.

“Crisp, Clean. Elegant”

I've been to this hotel before for various seminars, but this was the first time I stayed in a room. I noticed it was very clean and "crisp" Refined, yet simple and clean feeling in the room. A flatscreen panel on the wall, nice cordless phone and desk phone, as well as a sweet bed and nice place to sit and read. I liked the choices of furniture, too. Staff was very accomodating, ehen asked for help or directions.

“OK”

The only complaint that I have is that very late at night or early in the morning there were a lot of noise from other guests that made it difficult to fall asleep. Other than that the staff was very pleasant and the hotel very nice and clean.

“Everything great but smokers and elevators”

The room and service was great, the facilities clean and sparkling. The only detractors were smokers, guests and I think staff alike who hang around the front door smoking, AND slow elevators at times when seminars begin/end, etc.

“amazing hotel at an amazing price!”

Great Hotel at a great price. It was a little hard to get to but everything is closeby...shopping, restaurants, and proximity to Chicagos downtown.

“Comfortable but noisy”

The comfort of the room was great: good bedding; good pillows; large; two free bottles of water; easy access to the highways and shopping; clean. What I did not like about this Westin is that it's a hotel with a large atrium in the middle and the hotel rooms surrounding the atrium. The noise filters up through the rooms, and if you are there when there's a party/wedding, you will find that the noise may keep you awake throughout the evening.
