“Nice!”
Very nice and well-located hotel in downtown Chicago. Bed was extremely comfortable and my room had a wonderful view on the Lake. Service at hotel was efficient and always very polite. An interesting feature was the free-shuttle service provided by Acura allowing you to be drop for free in a 5 km distance from the hotel. Ideal to go shopping or to restaurant. I would highly recommend this hotel.
“Great contemporary choice”
My fave chicago hotel. Parking is $ bucks only upset.
“Juan Carlos Gutiérrez”
Nice hotel, Nice zone. Only one thing. The bathroom in the room can not close because is a modern design. But is not comfortable for all. Tha hotel is in very good conditions and the weekend is a good day to take a cup of wine
“very satisfied very clean would book there again”
THE HOTEL IS NOT VERY GOOD LOCATION AND BY THIS I MEANT THE MORNING RUSH THERES IS NOT THAT MANY TAXY'S COMING OVER LIKE OTHER HOTELS YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR ONE CAB TO SHOW UP. OTHER THAN THIS THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE HOTEL IT SELF. VERY SATISFIED WOUL BOOK HERE AGIAN BUT I WILL RENT A CAR,
“Comfortable Accomadations!”
Nice hotel, friendly staff, with a great view! The only thing that I was unhappy with was that I paid for lakeview, and got construction view, but the hotel comped my 53 dollar valet parking.
“Like entering a dance party”
It really is just a slightly swanky holiday inn (previous tenant) actually a holiday inn would have been better
“won't go back”
It was our 20th anniversary and they gave us 2 dble beds. They did not honor our request for a king bed nor give us a lake view. I thought they might acknowledge the fact that it was our 20yr. Anniversary. NOTHING! The robe in the bathroom had makeup on the sleeve.Nothing remarkable about it. Will try the Ritz Carlton next time.
“Great hotel and great location”
Easy access to the Navy Pier. Several restaurants nearby. Park across the street for running. Very nice hotel!
“Its nice and fun to be in.”
When you enter, you smell jasmine in the air...The rooms are nice. Everything, including coktails and internet is a little overpriced. I think internet was 15 for 15 mins, but free in their lobby. Overall, def romantic, fun, just a little overpriced.
“Small Room, but Nicely Done”
Two double bed, lakefront view room. Wish there was a balcony in this room to give somewhat more space. We brought two kids (5 and 3) and in general I would say it was a little cramped for any in-room activities other than sleeping. With our two double beds there seemed to be little space to maneuver with the bags unpacked. Some storage available which was nice. Bathroom was well done, but isn't extremely private, separated mostly from the bed area by shudders. We did not visit pool/gym/exercise area/bar. Taxi stop right outside the door. Walking distance to Starbucks and McDonald's within a block. Walk across the parking lot of the building right across the entrance for a small food mart which serves drinks and limited wine/beer selection and minor sundries. Convenience to lakeshore via tunnel easy to access. Convenience to north shore for Air and Water show a modest 20-30 minute walk. If I were told I was being put up at the W I prob would be extremely satisfied with hotel. If I had to choose again, and bringing kids, I prob would try another place just for a little more space and closer to our expected activities given the many choices in Chicago. View ok, you can see the lake, if you look to the R out the window you will see Navy Pier and fireworks. Look down and you see lakeshore blvd and the beach. Sound isolation good overall on our floor (>20th). TV allows room checkout. Clock had iphone charger built in. Early check-in was available. Staff nice.
