“Pay a little extra for the view - it's worth it”

The Swissotel Chicago is in a great location, 5-10 minutes walk from the downtown loop, the magnificent mile, and the waterfront. It is modern, clean and efficiently run although it is probably aimed more at business travellers, however still very comfortable. I would recommend paying a little extra for a lakeview room, as the views are fantastic (the lake, the river and Navy Pier, all of which are even better at night).

For a family vacation to Chicago you can't beat this hotel. Great location on the river overlooking Navy Pier and Lake Michigan. Located near the Theatre District with easy access to Museums, Millenium Park, Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier, etc. Rooms are spacious, clean, modern, and comfortable. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My room had a direct view of the Wrigley and the Tribune Buildings. The service was excellent and our location was within walking distance of the el and city bus lines.

The hotel was extremely clean and bright and welcoming. The experience was top notch. Great location too, very close to Michigan Ave. Would recommend and stay again!

If you are looking for a quality hotel (part of the Fairmont chain) near all the attractions, Swissotel is a good choice. Food and Services should be purchased elsewhere and all attractions are within walking distance.

The hotel was great! I spent 4 days in Chicago on the 28th floor and the view of the Navy Pier and surrounding view was breathtaking. We walked everywhere we wanted to go so the location was perfect.

Swissotel is located downtown and is in walking distance to so many things. Hotel staff is knowledgeable about the city and very helpful and nice. Also, the rooms are well kept and decorated nicely. I will definitely stay there again.
