“Good”
Staff was very friendly and helpful........good coffee
“Close to featured restaurants.”
Having three very good restaurants nearby were a plus. Mabinka's(Lithuanian# at 79th & Cicero Ave. area; Chi tung at 9560 S. Kedzie Ave. #great hibachi, sushi & oriental cooking); & Chuck's Southern cooking ribs & Voodoo lounge at 6501 W. 79th St, as featured on national TV- Diners, Dives , etc. made this extra special place to be. Also had a public library across the street. Plenty of spaces for truckers parking.
“Great for an overnight stay”
A lot of street traffic but its not the Waldorf Astoria. very clean and a nice staff.
“I would definitely go back.”
I believe the hotel is near many places, but not from public transportation, which is what I was looking for.
“Nice place to stay.”
Tha only thing that was wrong was the shower head and the turn on control, were bad and the shower head come out of the wall, should have been fixed before the room is rented out again.
“not impressed”
very basic. Make sure your doors close.
“Inexpensive Place to Stay near Chicago”
This hotel was pretty "bare bones" but it was fine for me and my needs. It was in a quite neighborhood and the rooms were clean. The price per room per night was one of the lowest I could find near the Midway Airport. I didn't appreciate that the smoking rooms were so close to the non-smoking rooms, however. Everytime I stepped out into the hallway, I was bombarded with cigarette smoke. Still, overall, I'd stay here again.
“Clean rooms”
Was not as close to the airport as I thought, but the traffic was o.k. to get there. Not much of a continental breakfast but the hotel room was clean and the price was fair.
“Could use some spiffing”
Typical Super 8 - The location is bleak. In another town this would be $50. Very convenient to Midway. Service friendly and smart.
“If you're flying from Midway”
While not impressive as a luxury experience, this is an easy trip to or from Midway Airport and the price is do-able.
