“Perfect base for our Chicago travels”
Great location, excellent service and friendly staff. We (family of 4) will definitely return the next time we visit Chicago. Positives: -Suites with fridge, pull out bed and large comfortable king size bed. -No ugly and worn out bed spread but a lovely comforter that is clean and very cozy -Well stocked complimentary breakfast: waffles, cereal, pastries and doughnuts, fruit and a variety of beverages. -Small but clean pool -Large workout room with treadmills and weights -Excellent acoustics, we never heard anyone above us, or around us. Rooms must be insulated with sound proofing materials. -Located near a number of restaurants and shopping areas Negatives: -If you like to keep your windows open at night, ask for a front facing room and avoid the noise at the back of the building (windows overlook the patio area) where you can pick up a lot of night noise, e.g., people hanging out on the patio talking, car doors slamming as people coming and going. The noise was particularly bad on the weekend nights.
