Everything was wonderful but the breakfast buffet is too expensive

The hotel was great comfortable beds good service and the shuttle was perfect.

I was just stopping over before catching a flight out the next day, but everything was welcoming and comfortable. I had to call for the shuttle but they were right there for me.

“Convenient to airport and quiet”

A nice, convenient location near the airport that is quiet. Airport shuttle every 20 min during the day and every 30 min during the night shift. Beautiful hotel, great suites, very clean and fresh feeling. Great breakfast, but know that it's pricy if you aren't on some sort of "package" deal. Negatives include charges for internet access, paid parking $6 per night, poor quality of food and service at resturant for dinner.

“Excellent Hotel”

I liked staying at this hotel. I stayed in a 2-room suite, which was very spacious and clean. Both rooms had plasma televisions (42 inch, 32 inch); however certain channels were not quite clear. The hotel is only 5 minutes drive from O'Hare airport and offers a free shuttle service to/from the airport. The shuttle ran every 20 minutes or so in the day time. The night service seemed sporadic, so it is better to call the hotel from the airport if you need the hotel shuttle in night. You can take the blue line subway train from the airport to visit Chicago downtown. I took the blue line from the airport to downtown, which took just over one hour to Washington CTA station(although distance was merely 15 miles). The room service was great at Sheraton Gateway; however the restaurant is bit expensive. I hardly saw people eating there. There are a couple of better restaurants and McDonald's across from this hotel.

“A super hotel with great service”

My brother and I flew in late Thursday night to watch a Cubs game. The front desk told us about a sports bar across the road. The food was fantastic. When we got back to the room the AC was on the blink. It was 11:30 at night and the maintenance crew came out and fixed the AC in no time and with courtious service. I really enjoyed waking up to a USA Today waiting at my front door to read with my coffee. We are planning to make this trip again next year and I know where we will be staying. One final thing. We spent a little time in the bar after the game and the bartender was great to speak with. Mario, who is from Bulgaria, was a pleasure to deal with. Kudos to everyone who made my stay memorable.

“Tops comfort for Chicago”

Stayed in town for the first 4 days and then went to Sheraton Sorry I didn't begin there. Wonderful Place to stay - GREAT EATING REST. ACROSS THE STREET, Beds were comfortsble dip in pool,refreshing --- I would stay there again and again . So neat and clean #1 place for my next return to chicago!!! Lots of room .Judy and Denise

“Unmatched comfort, convenience and excellent for weary travellers”

This is a great place to saty especially if you travel a lot and need a warm and comfortable place to catch up on your much needed rest. I was flying back from India and after a 16 hrs flight and flight delays etc, I was very very happy to be here. It was snowing badly the day I arrived and when I asked the cab drivers outside the airport for the hotel shuttle service, they mentioned that under these severe weather conditions, hotel shuttle services will not work and I will have to take a cab. I went back to the airport and called the hotel and the sent one immediately which was excellent considering the weather and time of the day. The hotel room was clean and the staff was pleasant and extremely helpful. Overall a GREAT PLACE to stay and I HIGHLY recommend it.
