“Residence Inn is high on my list”

Had a very nice stay. It was quiet and clean. Desk personnel were friendly and helpful.

“Pretty Good”

Overall, this property was a good value. Our main disappointment is that this property does not conform to the information shown on the website. Be aware that the room layout and photos ARE NOT INDICATIVE of this particular property - they are stock photos only. Travelers should also know that the pool is outdoor (not indoor as pictured on the property website), therefore closed during colder months. The room itself is in good shape but the room amenities (appliance, dishes, furniture) are dated. The heating system had trouble keeping the room warm regardless of the temperature setting on the thermostat, but that was our only complaint. Otherwise, we found the room to be clean and comfortable. Our housekeeper did a great job of tidying the room (she even ran the dishwasher for the few dishes we had dirtied). The free breakfast was very good, with a great selection of hot and cold items including eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, sausage, waffles, breads, bagels, cereal, yogurt, etc. Once our initial disappointment faded, we had an enjoyable stay.

“Home away from home.”

Although we arrived late and stayed only a short time, I was quite comfortable. Wifi is coming to all rooms, and was only accessible from the lobby.

The staff were extremely helpfull + friendly, very professional. I arrived @ the inn 2 hrs before check-in + they put a "rush" on cleaning my room, it was ready in 20 mins. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding in variety and very tasty ! My room was very comfortable with lots of space, huge vanity, 3 closets, nice kitchen area, well maintained carpet, nicely painted walls + wallpaper. The shuttle bus service unfortunately stopped @ 7pm + not available on w/e. Huge mall + restaurants within 2 block radius !

“Good bargain and great staff”

Comfortable rooms and good assortment of items at their free breakfast.. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggesting things to do. Judi went the extra mile and sent Champagne, glasses and a very sweet card from the staff to congratulate us on our recent engagement. We will stay there again when we come back to the Chicago area.

This is a good hotel well run. it shows some wear. The hot breakfast was a good variety. The location pretty convienent to lots of food and shoping as well as several convention hotels at a far cheaper price. If I have need in the future for that area would use again

We were glad to have a room with two levels to accomodate my family. The living room was a nice size. It was conveniently located for the purposes of out trip. We also enjoyed the full breakfast that came with the room price.

“Fine Suburban Hotel”

We needed a clean quiet hotel outside of Elmhurst to visit my brother who has been sick with cancer. We had our 2 dogs with us that needed to be houses as well. All were welcome at the Marriot with good service, economic costs, and friendly staff. I recommend it to anyone staying in this area of Chicago.
