“Nice hotel”

The hotel was very nice. The bathroom was pretty small, and there was no shower curtain, so my children got water all over the floor - that is a problem, but I guess they didn't put a curtain on the shower because of cosmetic reasons. I did love the location - very quiet and close to the lake & shopping. A little pricey, but I would definitely stay there again!

“RAFFAELLO HOTEL STAFF”

Hotel was great, nicely located, very small lift to room but ok. Room clean and staff friendly. The lobby staff know nothing about Chicago so if you stay there do your homework before you go. They sent us the wrong way twice and to attractions that were actually closed for maintenance. So we did everything ourselves after this. Otherwise good hotel

“Nice Quaint Hotel”

At first, I was a little confused about where the front desk was, but quickly realized it was the 6 foot wide marble counter. Normally when we go to hotels in large cities, there is a huge check in area. That is why I called it quaint. The people were very polite and helpful. We stayed in one of the suites and it was absolutely beautiful. It did not cost that much more, so I went for it.

“stylish, comfortable, great location”

Our room was spacious, even with two double beds, we still had plenty of room to spread out. Older high style hotel which has been completely updated so it seems almost new. Designer decor, beautiful appointments, huge bathroom, all of the luxurious little details...everything first class. We were very pleased with our stay, and the location was great - quiet, right by the Hancock tower, shopping district, restaurants etc. However, with everything else being so terrific, we were floored, seriously, that there was no in-room coffee. Are you kididng me? I really don't want to have to ride an elevator down 17 floors to get coffee, even if it's complimentary. Even the cheap hotels have a small coffee maker in room. It's a little thing, but being able to have that first cup of coffee without having to get dressed and is priceless. I would stay there againi in a hearbeat...I just hope they make this one small improvement...then i would give them an 11!

“Loved this hotel”

Very good location. Staff is great. Have coffee in lobby 24 hrs a day. Centrally located and so convenient to shops and resturants. Price was good. Plan on staying there again when we go back. So easy to walk to everything including the Navy Pier.

“Raffaello Review”

Great hotel to get away. Close to all the great restaurants and shops of Chicago and easy to find. Recently renovated so the decor is wonderful. I would stay here again in a second.

“Very Nice Hotel”

We were greeted with an Upgrade to a Deluxe Suite, a very welcome surprise, when we arrived at the Rafaello. The only downsides would be 1) the parking, which cost $40 a day and was not efficiently run (we got a phone call saying that our car was ready at the door when we had not requested it!); 2) very small elevators; and 3) the continental breakfast cost $10 per person and was quite skimpy. But on the whole, the Rafaello is a very nice hotel, and close enough to Starbucks and other places so that you need not attempt the breakfast.
