Brief Stay off Michigan Ave

Posted 15-Jan-2015
Location: Close to everything. We checked in late and it was cold but we were able to order food and have it delivered. Right in the heart of Mag Mile.
Had a great experience at Raffaello. Started off with our room being upgraded to a suite, then we had a minor hiccup with one the windows in the room being stuck. Staff took care of the window within minutes and we were even moved to a different room. The staff really took care of us and I will definitely be visiting the hotel again.

Nice hotel for price

Posted 12-Jan-2015
Hotel was located in gold coast so I had assumed a little higher quality. Shower was outdated, and overall you could tell it was a much older building.

Always stay here. But would love to see some updates to the rooms. Also, the elevators are frustrating. And the staff (housekeeping, room service, etc) should stick to the service elevator instead of "cheating" and crowding the guest elevators!

Good location for shoppers and beach lovers.

Posted 30-Dec-2014
Pros: The rooms are generous in size with very comfortable beds.
Cons: Would have liked someone at the door all the time.
Have been staying yearly at Christmas and are always happy. it is a quaint small hotel with an European flavor to it.

1 night stay at Raffaello Hotel in Chicago.

Posted 29-Dec-2014
Pros: Position, staff very kind, adeequate rooms, price
Cons: Heating system did not work perfectly and a bit too noisy.
Location: Very close to downtown , many interesting attractions in the area.
Myself & my wife spent 1 night at Raffaello Hotel in Chicago. We visited Raffaello in the past, and also this time we found all OK.

Girls Weekend

Posted 27-Dec-2014
Pros: Rooms were lovely; very clean and up to date.
Cons: Elevators, bed sizes in certain rooms.
Went to Chicago for a girls weekend. Had 4 adults staying in one room. The room was very nice and clean. Wish the beds would have been larger, though (only fulls). Only two elevators in the building that were extremely small. Went to the bar upstairs our first evening and felt very out of place. Was very loud and cramped; no seats open at 9PM.

Boutique is the clever marketing term for Tired!

Posted 22-Dec-2014
1: Staff - Don't expect great things from these folks, their concierges are young and inexperienced, they are not problem solvers, and they would have a hard time getting you a table at McDonald's. They are also rude. I asked if we could get a notification once my room was ready..."Check in is at 3:00"... Well Done! 2: Room's & Suites - They are tired and old. they are clean but they need a Face lift. Overall the blame is on me.... I should have not tried and saved $100.00 a night and just stayed at the Sofitel or Swiss Hotel...cause they get it. I even called the Sofitel Concierges to book a dinner and a baby sitter.

Great hotel in the heart of Chicago

Posted 14-Dec-2014
Had a great stay. Beautiful building with old architecture and within minutes walk from the center of the city. Easy access to busses and metro, great staff, and comfy beds! View from the window wasn't the best, but the price made up for it. Thanks!

Convenient location

Posted 12-Dec-2014
The only con worth mentioning is cost to park car - not mentioned in description. $62 for in/out privileges; did NOT anticipate that. There are two public self-parking options within a couple of blocks of hotel but cost overnight averages $40.
