Good location

The hotel is really nice. Parking is not very convenient, is down the street and is like $65/day. Also the heater in the room was really noisy, had to turn it off to be able to sleep, and was pretty cold.

Nice, clean hotel, close to everything

Posted 25-Feb-2015
My daughter and I stayed for one evening. The hotel location was near Northwestern Memorial Hospital which made it convenient for our early morning appointment. The hotel elevator made us a little nervous with it's clanking and its unscheduled stops between floors. We stopped upstairs at the bar for a glass of wine around 9:30 pm and the bartender greeted us by saying he was closing early and that he was taking last call. Closing time was posted as midnight so beware if you plan to relax in the bar area. Also the hotel does not have any pay preview movies.

Excellent location

First time going to Chicago. Raffaello is centrally located, 3 blocks away from lake Michigan and 2 blocks away from Michigan Ave. The staff is extremely helpful, from the doorman, front desk, room service. Plenty space in the room and beautiful view from the 12th floor; everything was excellent as well as the decoration and cleanliness. Without a doubt, I will go to Raffaello next time we visiting Chicago.

Elegant boutique hotel in the gold coast

Posted 18-Feb-2015
Pros: I enjoyed the decor and lighting throughout the hotel from the Lobby all the way up to the rooftop bar, Drumbar.
Cons: There was a pretty big hole in the ceiling above our bed surrounding the sprinkler in case of a fire emergency.
Location: In the heart of the Gold Coast neighborhood and very close to Lake Shore Drive.
Our experience at the Raffaello was great! Super friendly staff at the front desk, the text updates I received from them made communicating quick and convenient.

Great location

The hotel had a lot of character, small and quaint. The room had been updated but was showing some wear. Only one elevator was working so service was very slow. Loved the donut shop in the lobby!

Brief Stay off Michigan Ave

Posted 15-Jan-2015
Location: Close to everything. We checked in late and it was cold but we were able to order food and have it delivered. Right in the heart of Mag Mile.
Had a great experience at Raffaello. Started off with our room being upgraded to a suite, then we had a minor hiccup with one the windows in the room being stuck. Staff took care of the window within minutes and we were even moved to a different room. The staff really took care of us and I will definitely be visiting the hotel again.

Nice hotel for price

Hotel was located in gold coast so I had assumed a little higher quality. Shower was outdated, and overall you could tell it was a much older building.
