“Love love love the Palomar!”

Wonderful hotel in a great location. Central to everything you need in Chicago, nice neighborhood close to Mag mile, parks, restaurants. My city view king room was large, beautiful decorated and impeccably clean. All hotel personnel were friendly, helpful and professional. I will stay here every chance I get while in Chicago.

Fantastic hotel all around. The decor was tasteful and contemporary without feeling cold. The rooms had great windows, comfortable beds and nice amenities such as complimentary bath robes, iPod docking stations, etc. The on-site restaurant, Sable, is a cocktail lover's dream with a wide variety of classic and new cocktails made with care. The location was perfect. You are just a couple of easily walkable blocks from all of the shopping action on Michigan Ave. and very close to the subway.

Contempory decor, pleasant staff, great bar/restaurants around. Would stay again. Would not rent a car from airport, as is pricey to valet park at hotel, and trains and busses can get you anywhere you want.

We spent 4 nights at Palomar hotel and enjoyed it fully. The room was clean and cozy. It was facing the side of the hotel facing another building and the noise level was minimal. The only small issue we had with the room was related to the sound of the air circulating system that was permanent throughout the entire night, but it seems to be something inevitable in high rise buildings with windows that do not open. However, we were offered to try different rooms to chose the one that had the least noise level. Other than that, everything was perfect.

We loved the hotel and would heartily recommend it. The restaurant had an incredible bar and restaurant and the hotel staff were very helpful! The wine in the evening by the fire was a nice touch too, There was a pool and weight room that we looked at but we preferred walking around, seeing museums, and eating nearby the hotel at the many wonderful restaurants in the area, or in the hotel itself. We were supposed to be in London but due to weather the trip went under and we ended up having a wonderful time traveling to Chicago instead. We were very happy with the comfy hotel and the area and did not need to travel far to have an excellent time.

“Great Hotel in a Great City”

The hotel was really comfortable in a great location. The facilities were first class. good fitness centre/gym and pool on the top floor. We loved the wine hour and the free tea and coffee at breakfast time. Our room was quiet although the air-con wasn't very efficient so it was a bit too warm at times But all in all we were very happy with the Hotel Palomar and could recommend it

The room was not ready when we arrived but that is the only thing that went wrong, the people working there were always helpful and kind. Modern styles in bathroom and furniture in rooms, again the staff was great.

Loved the continually burning fireplace, the hosted wine tasting in the lounge, the direct connection to the Sable restaurant, which had a great bar and great food. Best omelet I have tasted in a long time---very french, not overcooked. Soft big beds and everything sparkled!
