“Recommend Omni Chicago hotel”
Very good hotel with friendly helpful staff. Rooms spacious and clean and all rooms being suites is useful with a small child as it gives them somewhere to play. Hotel runs a courtesy car to local attractions which was useful when it rains.
“excellent hotel”
Could find no fault with the Omni Chicago. Staff extremely helpful, food in restaurant very good and room very comfortable (corner suite). Hotel is in an excellent situation for all you wish to do in Chicago. Would not hesitate to return.
“Best Hotel Staff ever!”
The service we got at The Omni was the best we have had, they could not do enough to help. Great hotel for seeing Chicago from.
“Wonderful Hotel and Staff”
Since the moment we walked through the doors the staff could not do enough for my wife and I. After a long flight from the UK it was wonderful to be welcomed in such a way. The room was upgrade free of charge, very clean and had everything you would expect. The gym and pool where a little small but did there job. As for location, well it doen not come much better for the sights and shopping.
“Good Location for Shopping!!”
Decided to upgrade to a corner room, this offered great views of Michigan Avenue and the John Hancock Building (try to obtain an upgrade upon arrival) if not successful, upgrade anyway. Sign up to the Omni Hotels Select Guests, do this online, this enables you to have free beverages, a morning newspaper and Wi-Fi. Nice touches like the turn down service at night, especially the chocolates.
“Great Hotel”
The Omni is in a fantastic location on Michigan Avenue. We paid extra for a Corner Suite which is well worth the extra money(as long as you get the Michigan Avenue view). Be sure to get a high floor too as the lower floors may have an obstructed view from one side. The room was spotless and the reception staff were polite. There is a small mobile coffee shop each morning in the reception and a great but expensive bar, for an evening drink. In general, we would definitely stay here again on our next visit.
“Omni Chicago 2011”
This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel and the stay was as good as last time. The location is excellent being on Michigan Avenue and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The only minor criticism is the cost of the breakfast buffet has increased quite a bit since our last visit but this is easily rectified as there are numerous cafes around the hotel offering cheaper alternatives. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chicago.
“Perfect location!”
Stayed here for 5 nights & really enjoyed it. Great concierge & friendly staff. Superb location right in the middle of the Magnificent Mile. Clean and classy decor with spacious rooms. Quiet aswell considering location.
“Would definitely stay here on our next trip”
Can't fault anything with the room and staff. Only negative was that were was no cot for our 19-month old to sleep in, only a 'portable' single bed (which is what I believe the Americans call a cot). Could have put the mattress on the floor, but luckily the bed was big enough for all 3 of us! Location was excellent - right in the centre of the shops and restaurants (and wasn't noisy at night). Easy to hop on a bus. Lots to do nearby for both adults and kids.
“Excellent all rounder”
Hotel is in an excellent position, located within walking distance of most major attractions. Shopping on your doorstep includes Macys, Saks, Abercrombie, Tiffneys etc. Great restaurants nearby. Hotel staff very friendly and efficient.Ask for a room over Michigen Avenue. Rooms are well appointed with seperate sitting area and adjoining bedroom. Restaurant food is of a high quality, fresh and well prepared. The bar has a buzz in the evening, nice area to relax in. The gym and pool were never overcrowded. Big question? Would I return? Yes without even checking any other hotel in
