“Great Stay”

We stayed at the hotel because of a death in the family. It was a difficult time but the hotel personel were great and very accomidating. The room was beautiful and really exceeded what we expected for the money. We didn't get a chance to spend much time there, but would certainly come and stay again under more of a vacation atmosphere.

“Nice room, could have been cleaner...”

I come to Tinley Park every year for the North American Reptile Breeder's Conference and always stay at La Quinta. They always have a good price and a nice hotel. The room could have been cleaner. There was still items in the fridge from the previous people. Also, there was used soap in the shower, but there was clean soap provided. Everyone is always very friendly and for the most part I was very satisfied with the hotel.

“Great spot to stay if you're getting the train into Chicago”

This is a great spot to stay if you're getting the train into Chicago... though I'm sure there are other attractions nearby too. The facilities are very well maintained, and the desk clerk was very gracious. She also doubled as the continental breakfast manager the days we were there, so you'd expect her to feel overworked or maybe a bit withdrawn, but she was just the opposite: very outgoing, friendly, kind, and attentive to our hotel needs, as well as to supplying and resupplying and cleaning the breakfast area, which is quite ample and comfortable. I also should mention the pool area. It's beautiful! Nicely enclosed for all-weather bathing, and the hours for open swimming were very convenient. The water was nice and warm, just perfect. Actually, the whirlpool was not as warm as the pool, leading us to joke that maybe they had their pipes switched, but that was fine with me! This hotel is only a mile or so from the train in to Chicago, which is about 55 minute ride, and there's plenty of safe, convenient parking at the station. The rates were extremely reasonable. I hope they stay that way! The area immediately adjacent to the hotel is not pedestrian-friendly, and consists mainly of malls and strip malls, but it seemed very safe to us.

“Clean, quiet, and comfortable”

Our high school Girl Scout troop had a very pleasant stay at this hotel over spring break. The only downside was that the pool was closed for maintenance on the one evening when we had wanted to swim. The accommodations were comfortable (though beds were doubles, not queens, and seemed on the small side) and clean. The hotel was quiet. The breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel for people visiting Chicago on a budget.

Great service, friendly atmosphere. Close to shopping centers, but really far away from local attractions.
