“Exceptional value”

Attractive and clean hotel right off the highway (I-94). Decent free breakfast and 24-hour pool. And all for much less than any comparable hotel I could find in the area.

“Wonderful Hotel At a Great Price”

My husband and I stayed at the hotel just to have a convenient hotel to a special restaurant we were going to to celebrate an anniversary. We were very surprised with the size of the room. Everything was clean and very comfortable, wonderful for the affordable price. We've never stayed at a La Quinta before but would definitely consider staying at one again after this stay.

“Clean, budget accommodations.”

Greeted by a very friendly front desk person. Check-in was super easy. We had a king-suite at the end of the hall. The room was very spacious with a fridge, love seat and desk. The decor is definitely budget. I did my bed-bug inspection and found nothing, except when I moved the mattress I found hair, crumbs and who knows what on the bed skirt (under the headboard area). Granted, most cleaning people are not going to look back there, but that told me that the bed skirt does not get laundered on a routine basis. Otherwise, the room was extremely clean. It was super quiet. My daughter loved the pool and my husband enjoyed the hot tub. The continental breakfast was nice and well stocked. I'd stay here for a night while traveling, but maybe go for something a bit nicer for a longer stay.

“great for the price”

hotel was right off 94, but couldn't hear the traffic. would recommend to anyone. breakfast was so-so,

“Good Value Hotel”

We like to stay in hotels in the Lincolnshire area as they are near the interstate making them very convenient. We have friends and family spread out and it makes it very easy to get around. La Quinta was very clean and comfortable. The only complaint we had was that our room was near the expressway and it took a few days to get used to the noise of the traffic whizzing by during the night. Our stay there was quite satisfactory.

“Great Place, Great Price”

I was very pleased with this hotel! The room we stayed in was very spacious even with two adults and two children staying in it. It was clean and the beds where very comfortable. The pool was GREAT, I have found in the past that hotel pools are not toddler friendly, with no where for them to play on their own in the water, but this pool had stairs that ran the width of the whole pool giving my almost 2 year old plenty of room to play with water toys on the stairs at varrying depths. They also had a small area with two small toddler climb on slides. This hotel was also very quiet on a saturday night and consisted mainly of naval academy parents and business travelers. I saw only one other family there with small children at the continental breakfast thats included with the stay. The breakfast offered was nothing great but included make your own waffles, muffins, cereal, hardboiled eggs, yoourgurt, and apples and pears. Its also located conveniently a block off of the epressway in an upscale area. There is also a walgreens and grocery store 1/2 mile away, and you can take the hotels complimentary shuttle there if you dont want to driveit yourself. Overall it was very nice stay and I would definitely recommend it to any kind of traveler.

Area recommendations
Its 10 minutes from gurnee mills so great place to stay if you are visiting there and its located at the same exit as longrove.

“"Great!"”

Room was clean and the bed very comfortable, shower had lots of hot water which helped after a long day of meetings. Breakfast was fine, staff was very friendly - used the shuttle service to a great restaurant, very punctual. Only stayed for 1 night and didn't get to use the indoor pool, but it looked marvelous. Would definitely go here again.

Go to Flatlanders for an exciting meal, wonderful ambience and great staff. Well worth the money!

“Good location to TIU”

“Great for business”

This hotel is very convenient for those traveling for business. Close to Wheeling, Vernon Hills, etc. Free breakfast buffet (limited selection, but good for a quick meal). Right off of Route 94 and only about 30 mins to O'Hare. Rooms are very nice, desk, couch & chair, mini fridge and microwave. Plus free wireless internet. Just try to get a room on the opposite side of the highway, it did not bother me, but the noise may bother some.

Traveller's tip
Try North Milwaukee Ave in Wheeling, there are a lot of very good restaurants, RAM Brewery was my favorite. Also Flat Landers in Lincolnshire was great for a lunch with clients.
