“Good choice in Schaumburg”

Not as fancy as many big-city Hyatts, but perfectly nice. Good bed, good coffee at breakfast, no complaints.

Right across the parking lot from IKEA. Convenient!

“Great place for a quick getaway”

My husband and I came to Hyatt Regency Schaumburg for an overnight getaway to celebrate 10 years of marriage. Lovely room, great location, excellent food at breakfast buffet. We will return for another celebration.

Area recommendations
Love this area (Schaumburg, IL) for dining, shopping and entertainment. We lived just east of this area as newlyweds and loved it ! I still travel here occasionally to shop.
Dining
Shaw's Crab House - upscale atmosphere, great seafood, great for a special occasion.

“Excellent I will defenetly come back”

It is a beautiful hotel with excellent breakfast buffe. The room was very pretty and comfortable. Excellent service with friendly personnel. I will recomend it. It is at waking distance of a very big shopping mall and a Olive Garden. Love it!!!!

“Best stay in the Shaumburg area”

Very friendly staff, room was perfect even tho I arrived late. Coffee available for late wakeners.

Area recommendations
Only stayed in the Shaumburg area and didn't have time for anything else. They have the best eateries (Shaw's Crab House) and shopping (DSW - love it!)

“Wonderful Experience”

The hotel was exactly what I expected. We loved the outdoor pool area as well as the whirl pool. We were located right across the street from the mall...which is what we were looking for. Also within walking distance to Ikea. Beautiful area.

“Excellent Location”

Hotel is very clean. Has heated pools inside and outside. Nice outside hot tub. The staff is very friendly and eager to help. Rooms are nice, clean, and have comfortable beds.

Great location. The location is near Woodfield Mall.

Lots of resturants near by.

“Not what it used to be”

We stayed here about 4 years ago - it has not been maintained - bathroomfacet would not stop dripping and room could have been cleaner - would not stay there again. to bad cause the location is perfect for girls trip or couples shopping trip. Shame on you Hyatt!

“Made our wedding night awesome!”

Hyatt Regency Woodfield was great to us and all our guests staying here. We were married and had our reception close by at Maggiano's so this hotel was the most convenient for us. It was great how friendly the staff was. The shuttle driver, front desk help, managers and even the breakfast staff were great. I would definitely go back to stay here again, maybe for our 1 year anniversary. The room was clean and comfortable and made the night even more special knowing that we were able to relax. Thanks Doug, Teddy, and all that made our weekend special.

“Never again”

Room was suppose to have queen bed with sleeper sofa. Sofa was not, it was rock hard bench style that did not pull out. We had to pay extra to have a roll out bed. Rooms are small and bathroom smaller. No towels at pool area, and when I asked, it took staff 45 minutes to bring them. People with drinks in glass at pool and in hot tub. Staff was there, but said nothing. Fire alarm went off at 2:30 in morning and stayed on for half hour. To wake up in middle of nite, be kept up for 1/2 hour because the alarm stayed on, found it hard to go back to sleep and no one was saying what happened. The next morning, was told that someone on 4th floor did something stupid, but no comp like free coffee or breakfast, not even an apology for being woke up and lack of sleep.

Area recommendations
This hotel right by the mall. I do not know anything else about the neighborhood. If I knew how to get to another hotel after I looked at our room, I would have check out and went there.

“enjoyable stay”

The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good, too. I especially enjoyed the lap pool. It is a ong way from downtown Chicago. Cab ride to train and 50 minute train ride.
