“Great hotel, but too far from the action in cold weather”

Went to Chicago for a weekend with friends, and the hotel was wonderful. Our view of the lake and city from the 27th floor, the comfortable beds, and friendly staff were more than we expected. However on previous visits we stayed on Michigan Av, where we could walk to most locations, shopping, restaurants,etc. It was a very cold weekend and we had to take a cab or bus to go anywhere.

The room was nice with nice views of the city and the hourly shuttle to downtown sites was very convinient.

The accomdations, staff etc were all excellent. The shuttle to the Navy Pier and Miricle Mile area was convenient but a taxi ride back to the hotel was required - cost about $8.00

“Chicago - Hyatt Regency McCormick Place”

it was just an overnight stay, but very comfortable room & very accomodating front desk. They provided a wake-up call & then a courtesy reminder call 15 minutes later (snooze call).

The hotel is pretty, the beds extremely comfortable, everything was clean and pleasant. We will likely return the next time we visit Chicago.
