Great location. Easy walking distance to dining and shopping. I love the daily $25 allowance for dining and shopping at the downstairs market. The only downside is expensive parking. But you can find cheaper parking under nearby buildings.

Aside from very expensive parking ($84/night)...we were incredibly impressed with this hotel. The location is EXCELLENT and walking distance to Michigan Magnificent Mile, Millennial Park/the Bean, even Navy Pier. Staff was friendly, responsive and the food at the Lobby Restaurant was great as well (we had breakfast). They also have "The Big Bar" in the Lobby which has one of the most incredible city views around! A tall liquor circular tower and HUGE floor to ceiling windows. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Chicago. It's location is unbeatable for walking to ALL attractions.

Missed a dinner reservation at a nice restaurant so that I could sit for 90 min while my lock was replaced due to an annual update. The staff was kind but I never received notice that the doors might have issues. And was even alarmed as I got ready in the morning before my dinner reservation when I heard the security member checking my lock at 8:30a. Only to find after being out and about for the full day to return to use the restroom that I could no longer access my room. While I eventually received a $30 credit at my request for the inconvenience it would have been a acknowledgment from Hyatt to offer a credit without my inquiry

This was a great property. Didn’t like the extra charge though. They called it a destination fee. I asked them if they were charging a resort fee of $25. They said that they didn’t charge a resort fee. But when I got the final bill, there it was an extra $25 per room per night. I went to the front desk to ask them about it because they said, when we checked in, they don’t charge an extra resort fee. But guess what, I asked them if they charged a resort fee, which they said no. But they call it a destination fee (same thing, calling it a different name). So I was told, you asked about a resort fee, we don’t charge that, but we do charge a destination fee/charge. We got no, zero benefits from that extra fee. If we would have known about this extra resort/destination fee (whatever you call it) we would have certainly used it. I feel like we were robbed of $100. Lesson learned. Other than that, it was a great weekend at a great place.

$84 for valet parking and I didn’t see any other option for parking here. That was steep. Also, $100 per night incidental “deposit”. Also, steep. Other than those prices, this hotel was amazing! The location is the best. Right off Michigan avenue, Millenium park a few steps away.
