“It was a nice place”

On summer 2011, I spent about four days at Hyatt Place Chicago, it was an excellent and nice place. I strongly recommand this hotel.

“Fantastic value”

Hyatt Place Hotels are always cutting edge with technology, de'cor, and amenities. This hotel is no exception. You can plug any conceivable device into the 46" plasma. Nice sitting area in each room too. It's always a good experience, and I stay here each time I return to the Lombard area. PF Changs, McCormick and Schmicks, Weber Grill, Starbucks, etc, all within walking disance. Very vibrant area.

“My favorite in the Oak Brokk area”

I travel to the Oak Brook area a couple times a year and have stayed at several hotels in the area. Hyatt Place Lombard is my favorite and I have reviewed it before. It has great Internet connection, the rooms are clean (and attractive), it has a very convenient lobby bar/cafe, the staff are friendly AND when I stayed there January 6-7, the hotel had a fellow in the parking lot clearing 8" of snow off all the windshields, bringing the cars up under the portico and helping to load luggage. As I said in my last review, if you could see the flat screen from the desk and PLEASE stop putting the decorator pillows that get thrown on the floor, used for a foot rest et cetera directly on top of the pillows where i lay my face >> this is a great, great place to stay.

“Affordable luxury”

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean (except for a small stain on the carpet) safe and comfortable. The only complaint I might have is the breakfast area was small and crowded. But the food was good. We would definitely stay here again.

“Wonderful Hotel at a great price”

Flat screen TV, mini fridge, huge pit couch, breakfast and WiFi. All that a traveler is looking for. Plus, there is hot food available 24/7 in the lobby. This is a class place and I will gladly return to anytime I'm in Chicago.

“Great location and value for family reunion”

I selected this Hyatt based on its location to Chicaco museums and great shopping / dining. I have stayed at many Hyatt Place hotels as part of my weekly travel for work. The hotel layout provided ample seating for informal discussions (15 of us) and the lounge area served as a good place to convene after a day of sight seeing. The large seating areas in the rooms provided our family with some privacy as needed. The heated indoor swimming pool was great for the kids and breakfast had variety to fulfill everyone's needs. The staff provided exceptional service, including drop off and pick up at the Downer's Grove - Main St. train station for our excursion to Chicago museums. Additionally, some misplaced money ($60) was turned in by the housekeeping staff and returned to it's owner. I have always enjoyed my stays at Hyatt Place hotels, but as the "hostess" for this weekend, I was thrilled that Hyatt Place - Chicago / Lombard was a perfect backdrop for our family reunion. Members of my family that haven't stayed at a Hyatt before are now fans of Hyatt Place. Thanks for a great weekend!
