“Stay was okay but too noisy!!”
The hotel was okay, but I believe it is little over priced. Staffs were not so friendly. The good thing about the hotel is the breakfast. They had a very good breakfast and I and my family loved it!! It was a bit noisy due to young people staying next to our room. Overall the hotel is just okay and perfect for a stopover and probably a single night stay.
“Great location and value for family reunion”
I selected this Hyatt based on its location to Chicaco museums and great shopping / dining. I have stayed at many Hyatt Place hotels as part of my weekly travel for work. The hotel layout provided ample seating for informal discussions (15 of us) and the lounge area served as a good place to convene after a day of sight seeing. The large seating areas in the rooms provided our family with some privacy as needed. The heated indoor swimming pool was great for the kids and breakfast had variety to fulfill everyone's needs. The staff provided exceptional service, including drop off and pick up at the Downer's Grove - Main St. train station for our excursion to Chicago museums. Additionally, some misplaced money ($60) was turned in by the housekeeping staff and returned to it's owner. I have always enjoyed my stays at Hyatt Place hotels, but as the "hostess" for this weekend, I was thrilled that Hyatt Place - Chicago / Lombard was a perfect backdrop for our family reunion. Members of my family that haven't stayed at a Hyatt before are now fans of Hyatt Place. Thanks for a great weekend!
“Very Disappointed”
I was very disappointed because when we went to watch TV, we had no idea what channel we were watching. We called down to the service desk to complain, the hotel staff had no answers. It seemed they really didnt care. We were expecting better overall breakfast service, it was less than impressive and not enough room in dining area.
“Clean, Quiet & Comfy!”
Only suggestion would be some redecorating and upgrading
“Perfect for Shopping!”
HOtel staff was friendly. Room had misfit tank on toilet and tub was not inviting as the finish is coming off. Beds were both too soft otherwise it was a great stay and i will be back

“Best Hotel and great staff”
This hotel was first class all around and the staff was very helpful picking local restaurants and giving coupons for their favorites.
“It was a nice place”
On summer 2011, I spent about four days at Hyatt Place Chicago, it was an excellent and nice place. I strongly recommand this hotel.
“Impressed!”
Very surprised and was impressed on how nice & clean the hotel was. The hotel room was up-to-date contemporary style. I loved the big flat screen tv. Looking forward to booking most of my hotel stay at the Hyatt place when I come back to visit Chicago/Oak Brook.
“Oakbrooks Best Hotel”
This hotel was excellent. Beautiful interior, close to everything. Rooms were extrodinary.
