It's a reasonable hotel. No frills but average to good amenities. Good staff The actual building sucks. The HVAC in the rooms is terrible

Lovely, clean, and comfortable accommodations. Every staff member we interacted with was outstanding, including front desk staff, housekeeping, and the person working the breakfast area. Great stay all around.

This place is amazing. Absolutely love it. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Location is amazing. Great places to eat and for entertainment. Taking my wife there for are anniversary.

A fine hotel to stay in in Hyde Park. Super convenient - very close to the Metra and to lots and lots of dining options. Can get a little loud if you're on a lower floor.

Expedia had parking at a different cost than what I was charged at the hotel. It would be helpful to have accurate pricing when booking. The hotel was nice but everyone in our party said the beds were too stiff and the pillows were horrible. Breakfast was a typical continental.

We were warmly greeted by Cordell who was very accommodating. He gave us a few great locations for eating establishments because we definitely needed assistance! Other front desk people were very helpful over the weekend and went out of their way to provide answers and assistance in any way possible. We will return again!

Parking was very inconvenient. You have to check in first, but to find that out you have to first park on the street, which has limited parking, and go inside. Once you have checked in and paid for parking, you can move your car around the block to the garage. The garage itself seemed pretty secure, since you need a card to get in and out, but the hotel should let you know in advance that you will have to check in and have several clearly-reserved spaces for you to park when you are checking in. The room looked fine, but I found the bed and pillow uncomfortable. There was no bag in the trash can. The bathroom faucet did not stay where you turned it, so it was hard to know what the current setting was. I couldn't find any vending machines, so your own options for a late snack appear to be what they have downstairs by the bar. Several public areas outside the main areas were full of carts or other storage, making it feel like you weren't supposed to be there.

We almost left the 1 night stay due to the bed covers and sheets were dirty, the fridge in the unit made it hard to sleep and the fan in the bathroom was broken and making weird noises.

Great except for dirty sheet
Enjoyed our stay until we found stains on one of the bed sheets. Parking is difficult to locate so call ahead for info. A bit pricey but very near UChicago Hospitals.
