“I would reccomend thid hotel for any function or affair.”

I stay for the wedding of my son. Everyone was extremely helpful and accomadating. Lobby space has many different areas to sit and enjoy in small or large groups. I would return to this hotel as a first choice if needed.

“Hotel Allegro Chicago”

Hotel Allegro is located in the Chicago Theater District. If we compare that to New York City, it's like living in the midst of Broadway. It is near to buses, trains, and subways. It is minutes walk from the famous Millionium Park and Meg Mile. (Oprah had her opening show there). Everyone working at the hotel is ultra friendly,especially at the front desk. We were greeted by the doorman every time we see him, morning or night. The room is kept clean, and sheets are smooth. The only thing we would like to have in the room is a microwave.

enjoyed the older fixtures in the hotel, the bright colors, too. there were only 2 pillows on the king size bed; 4 would have been nice. some caulking was beginning to crack as well as seams along the wallpaper. otherwise, great stay!!!! Definitely would be back.

My only disappointment were the size of the room... and there was not a coffee pot... and the sink, although really cool, made it really hard to wash my face... minor things!

Hotel Allegro was great! We enjoyed the atmosphere very much and found the service top notch.

“Wow what a fun and interesting hotel”

I searched high a low for a hotel that had ggod value and was a nice hotel. I found it. My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. The service was good. the room was nice. We stayed in a suite. I read about the elevators being a problem. We never waited longer then a couple of minutes. hte walls were somewhat thin, however the only time I heard anyone was when I was in the bathroom. The spa tub was great. The only complaints I have are the stripped wall paper. It really mess with your eyes as you walk down the hall. The other problem I had was when I booked a suite they did not tell me that floors 7 and 8 our pet friendly. We did not have a problem with this nor did the room show any signs of pets ever being there, however while walking down the hall we could hear the dogs barking. Overall we loved the place and would stay here in a heartbeat.

I stayed at the Kimpton Allegro for one night while in Chicago on business. The Kimptons have personality and unique, cool feeling, which makes them a fun place to stay especially when you have to be away from home. As long as you have to travel for work, why not stay someplace you enjoy? The rooms were very attractively decorated, room service was fast and everyone who worked there was friendly. A great stay and I'd definitely go back.

I stayed here for a conference and was impressed at the ease of transportation as well as things to-do so close such as theater and shopping. Great location! Also, hotel is charming and clean.
