“Awesome hotel”

I wanted a smoking room and they couldn't provide it. That was the only thing wrong with the reservation; even tho I tried to convince the front desk! It was extremely quiet for New Years Eve weekend.

This venue lives up to what you expect from Homewood suites. Other than the occasional glitch in television pixelation, the hotel is outstanding in every way.

Clean, quiet and comfortable with a delicious hot breakfast. When traffic almost kept us from attending our event, we couldn't have made it without the help and assistance of the wonderful staff.

We have stayed at Homewood Suites before, but this is a particularly nice hotel. The rooms are nicely size (we had three in our room but would easily have been fine with 4). Our had a bedroom with a king-sized bed and separate television that had door that could separate that room from the "living room & kitchen" area. In the living room we had a nice sized couch with a pull-out bed that my daughter said was comfortable. This area has a TV of its own which is nice if you have kids. The kitchen was nice and comes equipped with a table setting and glasses for 4. We stayed on the weekend and on Sunday morning they had a huge breakfast buffet that was included with the room - and it was much more than a typical "continental" breakfast. They had omlettes, bacon, make-your-own mini belgian waffles (complete with strawberries, whipped cream and more), cereals, muffins, danishes, yogurt, a bagel and toast bar..and lots more. Anyhow - a great value for the Expedia price especially! To top it all off if you go in the late spring - early fall they have a nice pool and jacuzzi as well!

I was thoroughly satisfied with my stay at Homewood Suites. The room was spacious and confortable, in fact, I could live there. Their breakfast buffet was wonderful and the staff totally friendly. Definately a repeat visit.

I was impressed with the hotel staff and all the amenities the hotel had to offer. This hotel is the best. Suites were homely and comfortable. Breakfast, dinner, all complimetary and delicious. Very convienient to Metra Train Station.
