The elevators were a disaster. They were not functioning properly for virtually our entire stay, with very little accommodation from staff.

Thank you for your review! We acknowledge that the elevator upgrade lasted longer than expected, and was a major inconvenience for some of our guests. We are very sorry for this. We strongly disagree with your comment, however, regarding our staff working overtime and tirelessly trying to make it just a little bit better. We’ve gotten multiple comments to the contrary. We’re sorry this wasn’t your experience.

Staff was great. I appreciated that the room had a bedside clock/alarm clock -- that's increasingly rare. However, the clock was set to the wrong time and -- in a bizarre and foolish decision -- the part in which you could change the time was locked "for hotel staff only.* This was pointless and annoying. The AC -- only fan -- didn't seem to work. With windows bolted shut, it was stuff. I would appreciate a local newspaper available in lobby. Thank you for having a bathtub.

The staff was very nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the Metro station and bus stops. The valet parking was the only option we new about and was convenient, but you could self park. One of the elevators was down for repairs, which was a pain at times with 18 floors, but at busier times they escorted people on the freight elevator.

When we arrived the desk clerk stated they didn't have a reservation in my name. I showed them that I received a confirmation from the hotel stating I had checked in. He then did some digging and found a "glitch" he said, in the computer system from Expedia. Our room wasn't ready so we had to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes at 9 p.m. until the room could be cleaned or something. The hotel gave me a bottle of wine for the trouble so that was nice. At 3 a.m. on the first night, though, we started smelling marijuana all around our room's hallway. Then the hotel clerk called us at 3:40 a.m. asking us if WE were smoking. I explained I was not, and that we could smell it in our hallway. It was the room next door to us.

Pros: Location was great, breakfast was free, and rooms were very spacious with a kitchenette. Cons: Room never got cleaned or replenished in 5 nights. Elevators were extremely slow and not enough for size of hotel.

Everything from the checkin process to checkout was smooth. Loved the complimentary breakfast and the employees who helped us find a table to sit and made sure our tables were always cleaned. Lacey especially was amazing! I will definitely come back here again and can’t wait until my next business trip!

Rooms are comfortable and spacious, staff is friendly, especially one gentleman server at breakfast. Breakfast is good, though waffles are no longer available. The only negative for me was that the fitted bed sheet was too small for the bed and kept coming off exposing the mattress.

We liked that it was close to everything as it’s right downtown. Lots of shopping, dining, coffee shops and so on. It is slightly dated and the drain in the shower backed up quite a bit. We did tell reception in person but it never really got fixed. Other than that the free breakfast was excellent. Lots of options from cold cereals and oatmeal to eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, juice, coffee and so on. Staff very friendly.

I felt the pool was nice enough for the location but the water itself was very dirty and grimy. Felt it needed some regular attention or a adjusted process to cleaning. The breakfast offering is nice and the breakfast staff were very accommodating but the food was subpar at best. Overall a nice stay in a good location with a fair price.

We paid extra for a king corner suite. Our windows fogged up with condensation and we tried doing everything to clean them off. Whats the point of the view if the wondows are fogged up. No conditioner in the shower. Pool closed early at night so we didnt get to take the kids swimming and enjoy the night time city view. Dont think well book here agian. Only positive note is the breakfast staff was so nice and helpful.

The employees were amazingly helpful. Even the staff running the breakfast were so chipper, helpful, and patient. The location was spot on for what we wanted to do and we felt extremely safe at all times. I would give it 5 stars except the bed and couch could have used updating. Otherwise everything was perfect!

Perfect location with easy access to major establishments. The only downside is that theres no parking and to check in you have to go to the 6th floor, with only 2 elevators on a 19th storeys building sometimes you have to wait longer.

It was a safe, quiet and easy to get around the city. The only bad thing was they had a hidden fee of $300 deposit just before you check in.

Shout out to Jeremy at the breakfast bar each day! He definitely made the hotel experience (at least for the morning) 1 star higher. The sad part is, we went to a Chick-fil-A for lunch and considered that we got better, friendlier service from Jeremy than the employees there! That's coming from someone that has come to expect friendly Midwest hospitality from Chick-fil-A. Great job, Jeremy!

Overall, I will definitely stay here again. A few things to note, beds are a little rough for a Hilton (but thats also because I'm used to pillowtop at home). Not terribly uncomfortable, but not a pillowtop either. The rooms are a tad bit dated & some of the furniture does need to be replaced due age & normal wear. That being said, decent size for 2, probably even 4 people. The shower pressure is very intense, but also very nice. The pool is on the 19th floor. Excellent choice, however, the only way in & out of said pool is side ladders. No steps down in to it, much like a olympic style. Breakfast buffet is offered during your stay. Scrambled eggs, rotating bacon, sausage patties, & sausage links (depending on day of week), along with tater tots. Waffle maker, coffee, tea, juices, cereal, assortment of breads, yogurt, fresh fruits pretty much sums it up. Valet is prompt & courteous; also only choice. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

I love everything about this property, which is why we returned after staying here before. Convenient location, quiet, clean, spacious room, wonderful service. The staff is WONDERFUL. They go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. From the front desk, to maintenance, to custodians, just everyone. I came down to breakfast every day. Great selection, plenty of food, replenished frequently. I want to ESPECIALLY mention Jeremy and Lacey during breakfast service, Jeremy also during the manager's reception. I cannot say enough good things about all the breakfast staff! The valet staff downstairs is also wonderful. If I have any complaints it would be the delay we experienced waiting for help with our bags when leaving. It was nerve wracking and very aggravating! Also, the elevators tend to run very slowly. On another note, the pool was very nice!

The service was fantastic. Rooms were clean, and as quiet as a city hotel can be. Breakfast was surprisingly great and easy each morning, but it was the staff that made it all so enjoyable- would definitely recommend staying here. Additionally, it’s easy walking distance to most everything, including the mililliim park ststion.

This is a great property for a family with teens, right near the "L" and the magnificent Mile. Just make sure you leave lots of time to use the elevator in the mornings as there are lots of guests and only 2 elevators

I stayed for 7 nights and it was amazing. The staff was super friendly, great location with short distances to local attractions, amazing views of the city and awesome amenities such as free breakfast. I highly recommend the hotel and would definitely return.

It was a nice visit for our family. We had two rooms and there were finger prints on the windows. The staff at breakfast and Wednesday evening cocktails, more than made up for the window disappointment. They were so friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating.
