“Decent”
Decent hotel. They bumped up our room to an executive level so I can't complain. The hotel is pretty old but decent. The housekeeping is a bit shy... so don't expect them to be too friendly.
“Above average rating.”
The toilet seat needs repair, and the hot and cold water to the tub are hooked up backwards, just to name a couple things. Thought our room would be too close to the pool (noise issue), but it was not a problem after 10 PM. Plenty of parking, but some areas more secure than others. Wish we had been told the motel had a pool; we didn't bring our suits.
“Nice hotel and nice area.”
All staff were very helpful and responded to inquiries quickly. We were very pleased with this location and hotel.
“Satisfied Customer”
We visited Chicago for a wedding. The location of the hotel was ideal for the festivites for the wedding. The hotel has Louies Longe with great food, drink and service. We were well satisfied with the hotel.
“Reasonable”
The Holiday Inn was above average by Holiday Inn standards. It is above average from the outside and the entry and staff were very good. Bedding and room was still a bit old holiday inn. I got the sense that the old outside entrance Holiday Inn style was just closed in and the halls seemed to prove that--very drafty. The beds were good but not up to, say, Marriott quality comfort. I was a little disappointed that the room had limited power outlets (not exclusive to this hotel). My shampoo has already been used but put back which was a bit icky. Bar Louie service was friendly but not efficient. Music was annoying and techno-dance which didn't fit the atmosphere. In short, if you need a reasonable place to stay, this would fit the bill. Not fancy but above other Holiday Inns and relatively close to O'Hare.
“never before”
I have never before been given a room that has not been cleaned from the last customer who occupied the room

“useful, OK, not great”
not a glamorous hotel, but convenient, about 5 miles from O'Hare, and close enough to Evanston and other northern Chicago suburbs. hotel is across from major shopping areas, so there are several nearby options for dinner, breakfast. my major issue with the hotel is its design, with interior rooms within a shell, such that there may be no outside windows for a room. parking was good, security good, desk staff friendly. Hotel is showing its age a bit, but nothing was broken, the shower worked well, the bed comfortable. this is overall a serviceable option for a brief stay, as for business, but not a place one would choose for that special trip to Chicago.
“rooms old”
This hotel is mainly for receptions and parties and rooms are prtty old. One plus is indoor pool in the middle of hotel. The hotel location is pretty goodand it is easy to acess highway for downtown chicago.
