“Generally good”

Everything is good but there is no restaurant to eat around this area except inside the hotel.

“Hilton during anime convention”

The front desk staff were professional and friendly, however, check-in time was 3:00pm and we couldn't get into our room until around 4:30pm because the room wasn't clean. During our Friday to Sunday stay, our room was never cleaned. The restaurant dinner was overpriced and not very good. I had the ribeye steak and it was very fatty; it came with one side, no garnish. So it was meat and potato or meat and salad for a pretty hefty price. The breakfast buffet (about average in terms of hotel breakfast buffet prices), however was excellent. I was surprised by the lack of a concierge at a convention hotel. Again, the front desk staff did their very best to compensate, but overall were unable to provide basic information like local restaurant recommendations. We ended up going to their business center and just googling until we found something. I understand that the hotel was completely booked for the anime convention, but I was still surprised that they had such a hard time with the cleaning and basic operations.

“Hotel is comfortable”

The best bed I've ever slept in! Good for business travelers but not close to any convenience shopping or restaurants. I liked the in-hotel food and the prices were, for the most part, in line with big city dining, perhaps even cheaper. . Generous portions of food and the hamburgers were terrific. Shuttle service excellent. Hotel not finished in its rehab, had no ATM nor gift shop. No food vending machines. O'Hare jets noisy but only if you are outdoors. Hotel itself well insulated from the noise.

“Hilton Chicago Rosemont”

I had a late check in and was given a smoking room since no other was available. When I went to the desk to change rooms I was given a lot of problems. I had to fight and talk to the manager. Finally I was given another room.

“Excellent staff, very comfortable”

The staff was eager to help in any way they could. We did not have to pay for a cab once because their shuttle took us where we wanted. Eg. Blue line, lunch, airport. The interior is modern and clean. The only down side is the 25 minute train ride into downtown. If you're in for the museums, etc, stay downtown.
