“My experience”
We stayed in a newly renovated room and had a water view! It was completely amazing. The park was across the street, everything was blooming and green! Absolutely breath taking to a photographer. Great location to take the family to see some culture, do a little shopping, or good eats!
“Great hotel”
Great hotel good service staff are more worried about your satisfaction I had an issue with the vinding machine it took a dollar from me told cutover care they brought two sodas up to the room free of charge and gave me tokens for another soda next time I went to a vending machine
“Family get-away”
The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
“Beautiful!”
We had a great time and enjoyed our stay in a beautiful historical building. It was close walk to everything and the staff was helpful, but unintrusive. Would highly recommend the Hilton Chicago!
“Spoiled”
We stayed in an executive suite, great room and guest services. The bathroom was a bit small but was still clean. We were given treats before dinner time treats before bed and breakfast the next morning.
“Highly Recommended”
This hotel was a fantastic experience for us! Very clean and very comfortable. The only catch was that it claimed to have a "kitchenette", which we discovered meant a coffee maker and ice bucket. Also note that parking is $45/day.
“We Love Chicago!”
My husband and I stayed at the hotel the week after Christmas. The location of the hotel worked fine for us, and we enjoyed the history of the hotel. The staff was courteous. I had read in several reviews that the carpet was dirty, but I didn't find that to be true. We did upgrade to the executive rooms. We were somewhat disappointed with the complimentary hors d’oeuvres they served as part of the upgrade. They are suppose to serve from 5-7 but if you don't get there early, most everything is gone by 6 or 6:30, so go early :).
“Chicago Day Visit”
1. My biggest complaint about the cleanliness was that I was soaking in a hot bath after a very long day and when I looked towards the toilet, it had a bunch of black mold around the top ring. Not visible when standing but when sitting, very disgusting. 2. Last suggestion would be to have some more teenage friendly items on the menu. My 16 year old daughter orderd 2 items from the kids menu because there was nothing on the regular menu that she liked. 3. The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was very nice.
“Great hotel, great location.”
We went to tour Columbia College and we were able to walk there in less than 5 minutes. The hotel is in a good location to walk to many points of interest in Chicago. Make sure your are aware that parking is $45.00 per night. The Executive Floor with the "free" parking pass is what we booked. The fitness center and pool were excellent. The view is "fair" facing the back of the hotel I was able to see the Willis (Sears tower) but other rooms may not even be that good. The "L" train is loud and arrives often. If you want a "Lake View" I don't think that you can have the free parking and use of the Executive floor amenities...but the view is amazing.
“Great **** hotel on michigan!!!”
This is truly a very nice hotel just a mile or so south of the magnificent mile on Michigan Ave. Beautiful foyer and lobby. Rooms were very nice as well. Comfortable beds. The only negative as with most hotels, was the cheap TV and lack of channels but hey that's not what your there for right. There is also a parking garage for the hotel which was great but pretty pricey. Highly recommend this 4 star and expedia got us great rates.
