Very nice hotel at the south end of the mag mile

Really enjoyed this place. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Great TVs. Close to all the good stuff. My only beef was the wifi. I think it should be free. Not $13.50 per day. That's really steep.

Location: On the loop. Don't eat at the Emerald Loop but decent bar to have drinks at. Only drinks.... You have been warned :)
Stayed in city view room on 5th floor. 2 queen beds. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.

Excellent downtown location

Pros: Location and friendly staff.
Cons: It was all good.
Location: If you like walking it's close by to millennium park, navy pier, river walk, shopping & restaurants.
It was great for the family, walking distant to most restaurants shopping and the river walk and navy pier. We had a great time in a great city definitely go back.

Cons: There are fees for everything....every little thing. Expedia needs to do a better job with making those fees known to the customer. Very disappointe
Very disappointing.....dark, dismal, loud, small rooms.....only good thing was Chuck's restaurant and the waitstaff there.

Needs upgrade!!

Overall not a bad experience but I will never stay there again. No mini fridge or microwave in room. Wood Doors to room were scratched and very worn. Hotel overall is just OK! Food was good at the Iron Chef Kerri Simon restaurant which is connected to the hotel.

Hotel stay

Room was average, too dark. Mirrors in room were scuffed and we're never clear. Sheets had hair on them as well as stains. We were here celebrating our anniversary. But you get what you pay for. Could of did a lot better. We will not be back.

Fun! Great Staff!

Pros: The great artwork of Prince on my floor, the cool pic of John Lennon & Yoko in my bathroom. The staff was super nice and helpful!
Cons: I thought it was over-priced. We stayed down the street at Allerton the night before for almost half the money, in almost the exact same room.
Location: We loved Garrett's popcorn & the pizza restaurants near by.
It was very nice. Fun hotel to look around and talk music.

Very nice hotel

Pros: Very clean and convenient to everything.
Location: Trains and buses made everything convenient.
It is centrally located near the tourism area of Chicago. The trains and buses made us only minutes away from everything. The hotel was very clean and the Concierge's really knew their stuff and could guide us anywhere.

Pros: I really liked the location, the staff was very friendly and customer oriented. Had some great artifacts.
Cons: Find sheets that fit the bed, get new furniture.
Location: It's really located in the heart of Chicago and is walking distance to a lot of good things.
I was excited about staying at this hotel initially, but it really needs an update. The sheets on the bed didn't fit, came off and it exposed a nice mattress stain. The furniture was nicked and looked like it had seen better days. I would shop around a little more for another high end hotel that is better kept.
