“To My Surprise”

I am not a reviewer but travel lots. Please excuse my writing and or grammar. It started from when I walked up to the curb. My girlfriend and I were greeted with incredible curbside service, we were taken inside to the front counter. Again greeted with great enthusiasm and directed to where the party was in the lounge area and asked if we had any questions or request, which we did and they obliged to our requests. IT was Fantastic! The housekeeping and room associates were on there game, I had little requests here and there, we would come back to the room and there it was...Plus free wifi, I can't stand these high quality hotels that can't give free wifi, This didn't happen at the Hard Rock Free and they even had a computer in the lobby.Great stay great Place.

“So overly impressed with staff and hotel”

from the moment we walked in it was service, service, service. The front desk asked us about our fav rock star and put us on the 36th floor David Bowie floor. The room overlooked Sears tower and the river it was awesome. The bedroom had a step down and you woke up looking at the view. The concierge wass great she gave us close by jazz clubs, sports bars, and resturants that were great to walk to in the December cold, yet wew warm when you got there. I would stay again it was a very romantic place just what we needed.

I stayed for 4 nights during Lollapalooza 2011 and it was a magnificent experience. I have stayed on the Magnificent Mile many times and this was by far the best time I have ever had. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great hotel, a great location, and a great experience.

The Hard Rock Hotel was wonderful to stay in. Very trendy and hip. Centrally located. We walk to most of the landmarks. It is also located near the trains/subways. 5221

“Fantastic Stay for St. Patrick's Weekend”

Our stay at the Hard Rock - Chicago couldn't have been any better. We checked in on Friday of St. Patrick's Day weekend. We were given a gorgeous corner room on the 16th floor that had windows on 2 sides of the room and a perfect view of the Chicago River. We watched from the warth of our room as they dyed the river green. The bed is amazingly comfortable and the bathroom was perfect and spotless. I would highly recommend this hotel to any of my friends and in fact will seek this out next time I stay in Chicago. Perfect location, perfect hotel!

“Weekend at the Hard Rock”

We stayed at the Hard Rock for the KISS concert in November. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Cab ride to the United Center was around $20. We got to the United Center early and walked to the Billy Goat Tavern for a couple beers. We weren't nervous in the neighborhood as I had read in other reviews. The only problem that we had with the hotel is that our in-room safe didn't work on our arrival. It took them about 1 1/2 hours to change out the door to the safe so that it worked. Other than that, the room ws clean, valet was expensive(it is Chicago, after all) and we had a great time. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to stay downtown Chicago and have everything within walking distance.

Great deal with airfare. The hotel was in a great location and within walking distance from shops, parks, restaurants and public transportation. The hotel was very well maintained and service was really good. My only complaint was the lighting in the room. It was too dark. The hotel provides two computers with free access to the internet in the lobby. The little shop and bar were very nice. Concierge was informative. I would definitely stay here again. Chicago is a lovely city!

“musicians dream”

my husband loved the free guitar rental and i loved the earphones:0) i could rest and he could get his jam on. i would go back again in a heart beat and i loved the little bar downstairs. felt like home sitting on the couch , drinking a cosmo and watching music videos. very relaxing. oh, not that i sit at home and drink cosmos all the time:0) i only wished they had a pop and snack machine because i did not want to use the cool mini bar in the room. i likes that it was there though.:0)
