Guest rooms at the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago are clad in cool, relaxing tones with unexpected tigerwood contrasts and feature etched-metal artwork of rock legends like the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and David Bowie. Decor includes zebrawood dressers and "mock-croc" chairs. Beds encourage a good night's sleep with feather-filled pillowtop mattresses and 350-thread-count Egyptian-cotton linens. Signature Rock Spa bath products and armoires with full-length mirrors are other thoughtful touches.
All rooms are non-smoking and offer 40-inch flat-screen televisions and clock radios with iPod docks. Conveniences include 2 multi-line phones (1 cordless), minibars, coffee/tea makers, and laptop-compatible in-room safes.

“Want to go back!”
The hotel is ideally located on the edge of Millenium park and at the start of the Magnificent Mile. Like the city the staff were very warm and welcoming.My room was clean and very comfortable with a massive bed, clean towels and a nice bathroom. My only issue was with the China Grill. As the restaurant option to the hotel (20% discount for guests) I was appalled to be seated and told a mneu would be brought over shortly - only to be offered a drink and told the restaurant was closing. At 830pm I found this embarrassing as I then had to walk into the city during a thunder storm to find something for my dinner. That aside the surronding are of the hotel is beautiful and certainly caters to all. I truly loved my week in Chicago and will definitely look to go back.
“Excellent hotel for all that Chicago has to offer”
I was a little concerned about staying at the hotel as some reviews I had read were not that glowing...just goes to show that you cannot read too much into what others say. The hotel was first class. My room was a delux room (I think this is the basic room) but it had all that was required. Wonderfully comfortable bed, large TV...but the main thing I am always concerned about with hotels is it's cleanliness and this was excellent. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate in staying there again. Thank you Hard Rock!!!

““Hard Rock Hotel rules!””
Fantastic hotel set in wonderful, historic building with great staff and access to down-town Chi. Reception staff were spot on & friendly at all times of the day; Katie Axi Rose was particularly helpful and of great assistance to my wife & I It's set in an ideal location with immediate access to 95% of all the tourist-type stuff we wanted to do in Chi. We were disappointed that there was no hard rock cafe on site and that breakfast was not included in the price but otherwise have nothing negative to say Our room on 18th floor was very modern with a good view of the river & bridge...it was very clean and had all the mod cons including HD flatsscreen TV!
“Rock and roll with perfect peace”
Brilliant hotel in the heart of North Michigan Avenue with more rock memorabilia than you can shake a drumstick at. The China Grill is the main restaurant and is seriously good - the staff are friendly and efficient without being overfamiliar - this is the way hotels SHOULD be but, sadly, seldon are.
“Very Impressed and will return”
Our hotel was better than expected. We had read some reviews saying the hotel was dark, and yes if I were on a business trip the light would not have been ideal for working in, but as it was leisure we had no problem. The staff could not do enough for you. They were friendly, informative and always there if you needed them. We will certainly be going back and will stay in the Hard Rock Hotel. This has been the best choice we have made in the past few years. People were so friendly and helpful, city was so clean with great sights to see and lots of beautiful eat places ranging from cheap to expensive and we tried both.
“Great place to stay”
This is an excellent hotel. It is in a great position and most of Chicago's main attractions are within walking distance. The rooms are good and very spacious. The only bad thing's that the in room dining is well overpriced, but there are many better alternatives.

impressed by the friendly and helpful staff; the room was impeccably clean and very comfortable; an atmospheric venue; very convenient for exploring the city and in a safe environment; would be very happy to go back - in fact, this was a return and could see evidence of refurbishment since my last stay
“Great Hotel”
Really nice hotel in a great location. We walked pretty much everywhere as it has easy access into the Loop and up Michigan Avenue. Really stylish looking rooms too.
