“Undergoing a needed upgrade”

The lobby and first floor were being painted and recarpeted during our stay. It was a minor nuisance, but the results will be well worth it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

“Good No-Frills Hotel”

I've stayed here several times. The only problem has been noise - from the room heater/air conditioner, from the freeway, from the refrigerator, and, once, from a heater/air conditioner in the hall. Get a room on the second floor, on the west side, and not at the end of the hall (where the heater/air conditioner is), and unplug the refrigerator and those problems go away.

“A full kitchen,and reasonable rates”

I've stayed here at least once a year for the past 15 years because it's clean,it's quiet,the price is reasonable,it's conveniently located,and I love having a full kitchen in my room!

“Average experience”

The hotel location was good(nearest METRA station being 1.3 miles) with spacious parking with friendly front desk staff but the quality of room was not that good. We could spot 2-3 spider webs on the carpet. Generally I keep my slippers with me to wear in room but this time I didnt carry and regretted. There were creases in bed and it was a bit hard but since we were sightseeing the whole day and only came to sleep at night, it was OK. The only thing we didnt like was that it did not meet the expectation level when compared with its price.We have experienced better quality of room with cheaper rates.. overall... average hotel.

“Problems”

Send me to a trashed out room. Nothing had been cleaned, it was a disaster. Did eventually find me another room. On the plus side, the clerk refunded me and apologized.
