“O'Hare”

This is an excellent choice for the neighborhood. The free Happy Hour is much better than the usual in terms of selections and variety of food. The free morning breakfast is excellent including a wide variety of choices and freshly prepared items-definitely not the usual, mundane continental breakfast. Also, I appreciate the addtional room that is always a feature of an Embassy Suites.

“Happy hour”

We loved the free happy hour. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful. The suite style rooms are very comfortable. The free breakfast was OK, we had better & worst. We didn't take advantage of the made to order omelettes which may have made a difference.

“Overall good experience”

We had a late, or maybe I should say early, arrival (2:00 a.m.) and the clerk acted like it was an inconvenience to check us in (even though we called about our arrival time). She also didn't even bother to direct us to the elevators which were not in plain view. TWICE the maids just opened the door and looked in our room without even bothering to knock!! All before 9 a.m. and checkout isn't until noon. Good thing everyone was clothed!! The breakfast was wonderful and the staff was very helpful and friendly. It was nice dining in the atrium. Very relaxing. The room was spacious and very comfortable. When the person above us took a shower, it sounded as if they were in our room!

This hotel needs to improve quality of breakfast bar service people. Choices for the breakfast bar was excellent but the staff was not very friendly specially Chef.

“Good hotel”

Went down for a family getaway - pool was great for my son (lots of chlorine though). Front desk staff was very nice on check in and breakfast was great but front desk staff was a little rude on day of check out . If parking DONT park in convention center parking when you get there - park out front and ask where to park.
