“Defnitley was worth staying”

This is my 4th review this year for Expedia hotels. This hotel met, then exceeded my expectations. Every employee for the hotel was very nice, always accommodating. The rooms are perfect if you have kids...if they wake up early, you can put them in the "living room" turn on the TV, then shut the door to the bedroom and go back to bed. I was especially impressed with the breakfast in the morning. We had cooked to order omlettes, pancakes, bacon, sausage biscuits and gravy. The food was excellent, not one complaint. Don't be intimidated by people reviewing who nit-pick at the small things (ie/noticed one section of the shower tile grout had a little mold-- which there was none of in our shower by the way)...really people? Are your homes PERFECT in every way? If those are the standards you have, you need to stay in 5 star hotels every time.

“A Great Weekend Getaway”

This was exactly what my kids and I were looking for while in town for one night: a clean hotel within walking distance of Chicago attractions (Navy Pier, Water Tower Place, Millenium Park) and a fun restaurant (Rainforest Cafe). The bonus was how beautiful the hotel was, the view of the city lights at night, the heated swimming pool and the friendliness of the staff. Opted for parking at public lot just west of hotel (across the street) for half the cost of parking at the hotel...definitely the way to go.

“ONE GREAT PLACE!”

From the moment DINAH checked us in early for our Thanskgiving Day meal in the room until we ordered the car to depart, our stay could not have been better. They (the entire staff) are bright cheery and very helpful! Can't wait to return later thismonth!

“Good for families.”

Good for families with young children. Good location. Close to Navy Pier and Michigan Ave. The hotel needs to update their furniture. It is falling apart, but it was clean. The front desk was not very helpful. Good breakfast.

“Is what it is!”

Good location, one block from the heart of Michigan ave, having to take 3 sets of elevators to get to and from car not so fun. Nice to have privacy from kids but rooms are tiny, breakfast was above average but was a madhouse and kind of unorganized....employees were very friendly, compared with paying much more for a double bed single room though, it remains a good value. We kept our d not disturb sign on our door since we had two young children and lots of stuff, but a member of the housekeeping staff saw us in the hallway and still asked us if we could use clean towels, which was very considerate.......be prepared for lots of children if you plan to stay!

“Front Desk Person Needs to Learn About Customer Service”

Had a bit of a problem with check-in. The front desk person was not the least bit helpful and actually told me I was probably going to loose my money and not be able to check in. After talking to the manager he straightened everything out. Had a wonderful time after that, breakfast was great, they really know what they are doing and get the people through the line fast. Location is good for shopping. Overall I would go back it is a great value with breakfast included.

“"A great get away for the weekend"”

The hotel was very nice, the room was comfortable and clean, the manager's reception was a special touch and breakfast was the best.
