“Will stay again when in Chicago”

even though there was construction and renovations in progress -- never showed up in the "dirt" or disarray you would see elseware. Kept clean and signage was placed well, and clearly marked. Bed was the best I have ever been in --- LOVED 4 pillows and not the standard 2.

“Great Stay at Chicago O'Hare”

We were in town for both business and personal time. Our hotel choice and location was dictated by the business conference we were attending. We were very pleased to see the hotel had an airport shuttle that ran often as we chose to use public transportation during our stay. That the shuttle not only ran often but on-time, earning high kudos from me. The hotel is located walking distance just down the street from the CTA station - verry handy and also very reliable! The guest services personel were wonderful. The hotel was very clean everywhere - inside, outside, public spaces, meeting spaces and guest rooms. I actually felt comfortable enough to take a relaxing tub bath. I was very surprised at how quite the property was even though occupancy was high and location to airport so close. Would definately stay in this location again.

“Great conference hotel”

I was in Chicago for a conference--quick weekend trip. Wish I could have gone into the city, but alas, was stuck in the hotel for the conference. The hotel, however, provided for all my needs--great restaurants, workout facility and conference rooms.

“Awesome ACen hotel!”

They had everything I needed, were fast to fix my in room phone receiver when it wouldn't work, and provided the right room service at the right time. Plus, they were right next to the convention center to make the convention walking easier.

“convenient location”

We booked our stay due to attending the Chicago Tattoo convention held at the Plaza. The room rate was quite reasonable considering it's proximity to O'hare. The room and the bed were very comfortable. I gave a 3 due to not being able to find a steady room temp. It was either warm & stuffy or very chilly. I was a little disappointed that we couldn't find a c-store or a Rite-aid where we could buy essentials, snacks, or pop anywhere close. I didn't rent a car due to the $19 a day parking fee and the free shuttle service. The web-site tauts free airport AND area shuttle service. In reality they only provide trans. to and from the airport. Even with 3 large shuttles I only ever saw 1 operating at a time. However, they do run every 30 min. and are very prompt. Unless you have a car or use the CTA, (cab prices are ridiculous!), you are at the mercy of the gift shop, restuarant/bar for food, beverages, and such. You can buy a $14/3 day pass for the CTA and the station is close by. Food was great and prices were what you would expect in the city. However, pop and snacks were quite high. They charge $13 a day for web access but do allow a comp. 10 min for airport check-in and to print boarding passes. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again but we would come better prepared the next time. If you want an amazing Mexican dining experience, walk the 2 blks. south and a little west to Maria's. Very reasonable prices on food and excellent margaritas!

“Comfrtable and Very Close to the Convention Center”

The hotel was great for my friends and I. We were in town for a convention, and the room, hotel bar and restaurant, and work out facilities were just what we needed. Lounge on our floor was not available, so we were given complementary breakfast buffets instead... and they were delicious! Love buffet eggs, strangely enough, so this was even better than the lounge! The convention center is right across the street, so the walk was easy. We had no problems bouncing back and forth between the two buildings. My only complaint is the lack of food within walking distance... at least food that is both affordable and tasty. Your best bet is to take the short drive to Geno's. Some of the best deep dish in town, and the best burger I've had in a while. All and all, it's what you would expect of a hotel at this price. The biggest selling point is its proximity to both O'Hare and the convention center. The L is a bit of a walk... it didn't bother us, but I could see why some people wouldn't want to make the trip alone after dark. If I don't stay downtown near Soldier Field, I may stay here again just because of its location. It's a good deal for the dollar, and I actually hope the lounge is closed again so I can get back to that comp buffet!
