“Good Value but 30 minutes from airport”

We had a very nice clean, quite room at a very good price. The continental breakfast was good (not great) and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Based on the recommendation of two of the staff at the hotel, we had dinner at Charlie's Charhouse, next door to the hotel. The dinner was great and reasonably priced. I chose this hotel because I wanted to be far enough away from the airport so that we didn't have to listen to jets passing overhead all night. It filled the bill, but it turned out to be thirty minutes from the airport and their shuttle service is not round the clock. We were told that if the shuttle wasn't available when we arrived or were ready to leave, the front desk would order a cab at a fixed, negotiated price for the trip to or from the hotel. Make sure to check, in advance, with the hotel regarding shuttle availability before you book.

“Stay whenever in Ill”

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times in my travles to Ill. I enjoy this hotel becuse it is convienent to the highways and far enough from Chicago to be cost effective, but not too far as to not want to drive in for the evening. The only down side this trip was the jucuzzi was not working

“Great experience but not perfect”

Overall, my stay at this hotel was good. I chose this hotel based on the excellent reviews that I had read. The room was clean and nice (although I was a little disappointed with the old style TV). The breakfast was excellent, and I especially thank the lady who was in charge of the breakfast. She was very cordial, and I could tell that she really cared about customers. The quality of breakfast was good as well. One thing I'd like to point out is the condition of the pool. First, it was one of the nicest pools that I experienced in recent years, in terms of the size and maintenance. Very nice. Second, however, I had to make several trips to the front desk because there were no new towels in the pool for at least a day. The lady at the front desk gave me about 10 towels and told me to take them to the pool. The next day, a man at the front desk gave me unfolded towels and asked me to take them to the pool. This could be one minor, negative experience, but I thought that the hotel should know that such a small mistake could easily ruin a customer's entire experience overall.

“Nice hotel - hot tub was not working”

Very nice hotel. Beds comfortable. Staff friendly. However, we were very much looking to time in the hot tub. Also, waffle machines were not working when we were there. Other than that, the stay was fine.

“Good value”

Nice, very well maintained, very clean and conveniently located. Large, free breakfast and free internet make it a good value. Unfortunately, as so often in the US, poor soundproofing to the hall and adjoining rooms, and the usual rattletrap of an AC/heating unit. Not for light sleepers.
