This is a great hotel in a great location. Our room had a Chicago River view and it was great. Ran into the Manager and he was so friendly. These folks are usually in a rush but he spent about 10 minutes talking with us. My only complaint was with the heating unit in the room - it was very slow to get up to temp.
The hotel was very nice and very convenient to the location where we were attending a concert at the Rosemont theatre. The only thing missing was microwaves in the rooms. Only one microwave in the entire hotel and that was on the main floor.
We got the hotel super late hut there was always someone around if we had questions or needed diretcions. The front desk lady on saturday when we were there even printed off directions for us to get to the aquarium.
Stayed during Black Friday weekend. Great place- only complaint was all 5 floors of vending machines that I checked were out sold out and drinks in downstairs bar are very expensive. Great view, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, would stay again!
I have stayed at the Fairmont a couple of times and my only complaint would be that they had no tv guide. I especially like that they have a separate makeup area with a lighted magnifying mirror..every hotel should have that. Great location, close to everything. Last stay we had a better view, but our latest room wasn't too bad either. I would definitely choose this hotel again.
Excellent hotel. I always stay in Schaumburg when I travel to Illinois for law school. I'm a student at Loyola School of Law and the pricing in Schaumburg is more suitable for my budget.
