“World Traveler Report”

I have stayed at more than 400 first class and deluxe hotels. One can not beat the value of this place. Great Breakfast. Free Paper, Coffee on demand. Happy Hour. Happy Hour could be improved, but not from a value standpoint. Just a little better and charge more for drinks. This is a great place. Period.

“Nice Hotel, Great Value”

I have stayed in everything from 5 star resorts to budget hotels. This hotel is a little older, a little out of the way, but provides excellent value, service and ammenities for the price. I rate all of the following good to excellent. Size of Room, comfort of the bed, cleanliness. Pool and Jacuzzi both good. Breakfast - good. Free cocktails in the evening Great!. Pet friendly, nice. Excercise room leaves a bit to be desired. There is no elevator in this hotel. Maybe an issue for some, make sure you get a reservation for the first floor if it is.

“Very nice place”

Very pleasantly surprised. Arrived to a nice 'manager's reception' with light snacks and drinks. Also impressed with the full breakfast. Rooms very comfortable, and staff were all wonderful.

“excellent choice - great breakfast - convenient to Metra”

We stayed here for a weekend getaway, and loved it. It is much less hassle to leave the car at the train station, and saves on parking fees. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the new beds are so firm that I could not sleep. The next day the staff supplied extra bedding so soften the experience. We will return on our next trip to Chicago.

“Great value for the price.”

Wow! What a really great place to stay - far enough off of the main road so it is quiet and easy to find. Very nicely furnished lobby with dining area and computer access for guests. Architecturally interesting interior with interior landscaped courtyard visible from lobby. Then we got to the room - would you believe 7 pillows on each bed? That is what they provided along with a nice desk, and comfortable chair. Happy hour was at 5 PM, then out to dinner at the mall about 2 miles away with lots of great restaurants. Back to the room for a good nights sleep and wake up to eggs, sausage, pancakes, fresh fruit and a great breakfast choices. I will want to stay here again when the snow has melted- great value for a good price.

Comfortable, quiet, appointed nicely, a great value and close to the metro. Oh, by the way, breakfast isn't bad either. Dirk

“Great Breakfast Buffet”

My boyfriend and I wanted to have a night out and we chose clubhouse because it was close to downtown chicago.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Very clean and beautiful inside and out. There is a terrace that you can sit outside in the garden. They offer a complimentary hot breakfast buffet every morning.

we were very satisfied will stay there again. the hot tub jets are very strong but very clean.

“it will be the top of my list for chicago”

Enjoyed it very much and will go back. Only one issue I had to ask for a set of towels we had three in the room they only left two sets.
