Pros: Location
Cons: Rooms updated
Rooms are dated and very small. Walls are thin so we were able to hear doors closing down the hall and a baby crying somewhere. Room had a chill at night and we were unable to get the heat going even when we had the temp set at 82 and the fan was running. Great location. We walked to Millennium Park and Navy Pier. It was a lot of walking, but is doable. Elephant and Castle disappointing. Music was so loud that it was hard to hear each other. Ordered roast beef and yorkshire pudding and the roast beef was tough and the yorkshire pudding was small for the amount of meat. Overall, the location was good, but we won't be seeking this hotel in the futuren even at a discounted rate.

Great location for visiting Chicago attractions

Posted 03-Jul-2015
Pros: Location, availability of a kitchenette in the room, simplicity and functionality.
Cons: Rooms are very small, even superior size room for 3 is very tiny
Location: See above
This is my second stay in this hotel and love it, mainly because of its perfect location. It is within very short walks from the Union station, Willis Tower, Institute of Art, and the Millennium park and also not very far from the Magnificent Mile and the Museum campus. Many nice and fun restaurants around, some are on the same street, e.g. the Russian Tea that we always visit on our trips to Chicago.

Lucky find - unpublished rate hotel.

Posted 02-Jul-2015
Pros: Location; nice facilities but not too frilly.
Cons: The bathroom needed some repairs.
Location: Easy access to the Institute of Art, the Soldiers' Field attractions, shopping, the "L"
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and would return.

Good location, good room, free bottled water

Posted 01-Jul-2015
Good location, good room, free bottled water, getting car unloaded was a bit hectic and tight though as there are only a couple spots in front of hotel. I paid for bellhop to help with luggage. Parking was a few blocks away but maybe that is how Chicago works?!

Thin walls but very clean and great location.

Staff was friendly, room was clean and comfortable but very small. Walls are thin so be prepared to hear your neighbors at all hours. The location is great though, close to the Willis Tower and walking distance to Millennium Park. Parking isn't included, so if you have a car make sure you're prepared to pay for garage parking.

No towels your problem

Posted 28-Jun-2015
Checked in on June 26th at 9pm. Find out that there is only one towel for the three of us. Ask the front desk and they say the linen company should be here any minute. We are all tired and just want to take a shower and go to sleep but can't. Decide to go out to get something to eat thinking by the time we get back we would have some towels. We comeback at 10:30pm still no towels. Frustrated I call the front desk saying how inconvenient it is and I would like some compensation and they tell me tough not their fault they don't have towels. They also say nothing they can do for me since I booked this through Expedia. They basically treated me like I was a pain in the butt for their lack of professionalism in running a hotel. Chances are you might not have this problem but for the price do you really want to risk it? Have you ever stayed at a hotel that didn't have towels?
