Nice stay, but beware the air conditioning.

Posted 17-May-2015
Pros: clean, quiet, business traveller perks, good location
Cons: Alert travellers that the heat is not really working and offer space heaters.
Location: Right in the Loop, so great for business or tourism.
I always stay here when I'm in Chicago if I can. I would stay here again, but talk to the staff about the heating system in the evening. It's a hotel geared to the business traveller, so there are perks I love: self-serve iron/ironing board closet (although the other supplies seemed to be low on this particular trip, like tea and soap), free washing and drying of clothes (great on long trips), very nice desk setup, and computers/iPads/printers to borrow and use. This trip, I have two quibbles: First, they have switched out the traditional coffee machines with a pod-based machine. Great if you want coffee, but if tea is your thing, you have to go into the business centre one floor below the lobby and use the hot water in the espresso machine. Boo. Second, the "heat" was blowing cold air and when I couldn't stand it anymore at 3a.m. and called the front desk, they told me that "right now the hotel is on cool. So I suggest that you turn the heat off to keep more cold air from coming in, and we'll bring up a space heater or more blankets." They did bring up a heater, and I found a clean blanket in the closet, and after that I slept very well.

Good Downtown Hotel

Posted 13-May-2015
Pros: The hotel itself was good, but the staff was amazing and friendly.
Cons: Valet service wasn't awesome.
Location: We were really just interested in the fact that the federal building was right across the street but there was shopping and plenty of food too :)
Good hotel in a great location for people needing to do stuff downtown. Right across the street from the Federal building which is why I picked that hotel, also with a good price. We arrived grumpy after a bad experience at the airport but the staff was great and they did everything that they could to cheer us up and make our stay a pleasant one.

Loop

Cons: 特になし。
Location: Central Loop

Home Away from Home

Posted 27-Apr-2015
I have been traveling to Chicago at least monthly for 10 years. I've been staying at the club Quarters most of that time. The staff is so lovely and welcoming, they are kind and generous and they make me feel like this is my home away from home. The rooms are adequate to nice depending on what size you choose and the hotel offers some nice extra amenities. The location is great, very near the blue line stop at Jackson, so it's easy to get to from O'Hare, and easy to get around Chicago itself. Looking forward to seeing them again next month!

good location!

Great hotel for the price. A short walk from Michigan Ave. Starbucks on the corner, 7 Eleven across the street and good restaurant attached. Empty bottles and chilled filtered water available on each floor. Easy check in and out. Loved it!

Good location to theater district.

Posted 20-Apr-2015
Pros: Helpful and friendly staff. Liked the security on the elevators--a room card was required to use them. Also, a chilled water station on each floor.
Location: We attended the opera and could have walked it, but took a cab for $5.00. Close walking distance to major stores, plenty of eateries/coffee/tea shops.
Small but very clean, comfortable room -- plenty of room for two. We had a corner with great views of downtown. Hotel was very quiet.

FIrst Visit to Chicago

Posted 17-Apr-2015
Pros: The ease of check in and check out. the friendly staff
Cons: Our view was not the best. The rooms are a little small but all the amenities were available. The Gym was great. So was the lounge in the basement.
Location: we rode a taxi everywhere we went it cost about $6-7 to get to the milleniuial mile.
Great time was had Chicago is a busy and expensive city to visit but you will have a great time. Taxes are about 11% so go with serious spending change. the tours are great and the people are even better.

The room was a bit dirty (e.g., hairs on wash room floor) but overall, location was very convenient and check-in/check-out procedure was quite fast and easy. Got what I paid for I'd say.

Cozy but comfortable

Posted 13-Apr-2015
We crashed here between museums in Chicago. Our room was small, but so is my house back home. I think the hotel bathroom was bigger than my own. I loved the toiletries. Everything was clean, & the staff was friendly & helpful. We were able to leave our bags at the desk while we went sight-seeing until check-in time.
