I really can't complain about anything regarding my stay. I especially appreciate their private parking lot since just about every other structure in the city either charges $50 a night to park or you're just SOL for parking.

“Perfect for business travellers”

Very nice hotel. PERFECT for those who have any brief meetings or conferences at McCormick place. It just couldn't be closer or more convenient to it. With free parking and a great price, it is an unbelievable deal. And the tubs are enormous! Very nice touch.

“A Well Run Three Star Hotel”

Not top line luxury, but excellent value for sure. A large, clean room with air conditioning in a well maintained building. Staff was more than helpful. I overheard one guest complaining about noise from some rude party goers, but our room overlooking the back parking lot was quiet. (The unhappy patron had her room fee for one night refunded by management without hesitation.) At first I was worried about the neighborhood being sketchy, but it really didn't seem bad, although it is south of downtown. One direct bus connection down State Street and the bus stop is right next to the hotel. The location issue is offset by the free parking. Wi fi was also free and functioned well.

A great find in a fabulous, friendly city, Lovely historical Boutique hotel in an up and coming clean,quiet neigfhborhood.

“Great Hotel, Great Price”

For the price and the free parking alone this hotel is great. But the rooms were very nice and spacious. The staff was very nice. I read a lot of the reviews talking about the nieghborhood, but I didn't think it was that bad at all. I felt very safe. I have never been to Chicago, but I thought it was great, I would for sure stay here again.

the hotel itself is great, and if you are driving it would be fine, but if you are used to being able to walk to restaurants, stores etc, there is nothing nearby. The small deli in the hotel is fine for grabbing something for breakfast before heading out for the day.

“Great hotel but bad neighborhood”

The hotel is wonderfully elegant, older but very nicely kept; however, the neighborhood is very scary. I would not come/go at night and would be leery of staying there if you're a single woman.

Nice Great location for Chicago tourist to catch the 29 Bus to all the sights, ie, museum campus.
