“Large suite”

The hotel itself was very nice and the service was great. The room was a good size and was essentially clean. Our problem was the carpet really needed cleaning. We felt we could not take off our shoes. Being across the street from O'Hare made it very convenient and it was very quiet!

“Sweet place to stay”

Great place, great bed and cozy blankets and pillows. Also very yummy breakfast. They had any kind of breakfast food you could think of but the wait staff needed to smile a little more.

“Very good choice for a short stay in Chicago”

The hotel is in excelent condition, the room is large enough to accomodate four adults. The location is not perfect, the train is about half a mile of walking which is not pleasant in the evening. The ride to downtown takes about one hour. The main complain I have is the shuttle to airport: they say it runs every 20min but in fact it is at least 30min. We had to take a cab to the airport as after 20min of waiting in front of the hotel the driver of the shuttle told us it will take another 10min untile he leaves and it will have to go to another 2 hotels before reaching the airport. The taxi fare was very convenient, not worth the stress of using the shuttle.

“Pleasant Luxury Near O'Hare”

I obtained a great price for this flight/hotel combination booking through Expedia - and as such, wasn't expecting much due to the 'cheapness' of the hotel. I was dumbstruck at the quality of accommodation - luxurious beds, spacious rooms and en-suite. Would have been great to bring my family, as could have had kids in one room and us in another quite comfortably. You do have to pay for breakfast and internet, although it is complementary in the lobby - shuttle is convenient and runs every 20 mins - only 10 mins from the hotel, so was perfect for this weekend business meeting. Fitness equipment also in great working order. Attached hotel had good menu selection.

“Will be there again”

Wonderful hotel, clean, staff very helpful and friendly. Pool area also kept very neat. Only drawback to mention would be having to pay for parking. $22/night.

Area recommendations

Navy Pier and Millenium park, Hancock building observation deck are good for the family. Bob Chinn's Crabhouse is very busy but wonderful food and staff.

“Cajun Man's crash pad for Crossroads 2010”

It looked a bit like it wasn't really spic and span, but plenty comfortable and sufficient.

Area recommendations

Downtown, way more to do within walking distance and way easier to get a cab, get around, etc.

“Service was okay”

Desk representatives could not help me location of meeting rooms within the building. Room service had small menu. Food service was slow.

“Luxury at it's best”

Such a great place to stay. Very comfortable, friendly and attentive staff,from the desk to housekeepers. Close to an 'L' station which you should use if going downtown.

Traveller's tip

If you can avoid using a car here-do it. There are airport shuttles and the hotel is close to Loop access. The train can get you all around the city and will save you the $22.00 a day to park a car at the hotel. Parking downtown is even more expensive. The people in Chicago are some of the worse drivers I've encountered, and I travel a lot.
