“Very impressed, would definitely stay here again”

“Excellent Service and Comfort!”

I had an excellent experience at the Amalfi Hotel! The location was nice--not RIGHT in the middle of all the action downtown, but still a convenient distance. Mostly I loved the feel of the hotel. It was very chic both in the lobby areas and also in the rooms. We found everything very comfortable. The staff was very professional and helpful. One evening we also took advantage of the complimentary nightly cocktail party. It wasn't anything super fancy, but there were nice little hors d'oeuvres and what isn't great about complimentary cocktails, wine, and beer?! It was a wonderful start to the evening! Overall, I was VERY happy with this hotel and would definitely recommend a stay here.

“Wonderful boutique style hotel”

This hotel has a fabulous location in the River North area, a short walk to the Magnificent Mile and the Loop. The concierge staff check you in and are happy to answer questions and recommend restaraunts and areas to explore, and arrange for tickets and tours. There is no restaurant on the property, but there are many places to eat in the area. The hotel provides a continental breakfast on each floor. It's adequate, but not special. They have bagels, but no toaster and no knives are provided to spread the cream cheese, butter or jam. This is a small criticism of the hotel. The nightly cocktail reception is great, offering free drinks and Italian style appetizers. The rooms are spacious, clean and well appointed. Bring your lap top, because the wireless internet is free in your room.

“Nice place!”

The hotel was very conveniently situated - very clean and welcoming. The room (and the bed) was very comfortable. The breakfast bar on each floor was a nice idea and there was plenty to eat. The evening reception was very pleasant too and quite a surprise - there was a very good selection of food and drink there too! We enjoyed our stay at the Amalfi and I would certainly recommend it

Great hotel, very cental, 2 min's to "the mile", 2 mins to "the loop". Good continental breakfast on each floor. Hotel staff full of information and can not do enough for you.

“Great Hotel in Chicago - I will stay again”

Great location. Great continental breakfast served right on each floor. Great happy hour for guests each night with buffet style snacks and cocktail of your choice. I would stay at the Amalfi again on my next trip to Chicago.

“A great find in a great location”

While this hotel doesn't have some of the bells and whistles of it's 4 & 5 star cousins, it certainly makes up for it with a staff of very friendly, helpful and attentive people. The coffee/breakfast bar on each floor is nice touch and the included happy hour(s) in the lounge every day is a wonderful way to relax before venturing out to explore the numerous sights available within a short walk.

“Very impressed”

Modern, very urban, spacious, with gym & business center open 24 hrs, very clean, rich continental breakfast served on each floor, the hotel is close to everything and most of all, amazing staff. Also, unheard of by me until now, they offer every evening, to all hotel guests, a free cocktail with food and drinks. Excellent choice!

“One of the best hotel experiences!”

My family and I stayed on a recent vacation in Chicago and couldn't have been more pleased. In addition to the daily breakfast and cocktail reception, the staff was what made the trip. Each person we encountered was warm and friendly. The staff assisted us with every request and were gracious and professional. I can't wait to go back!

“Making this a tradition”

From the moment we arrived in Chicago,not a beat was missed. Room was amazingly ready at 11am. Posh, chic, retro decor. Front desk courteous as well as the doormen. Umbrellas supplied when we forgot ours and it was pouring out. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable. Continential breakfast was beautifully displayed and delicious as well with complimentary fresh fruits, danish, etc. Hotel is walking distance to the pier, the mile and the theater district. Not to mention the plethera of restraurants to choose from. What a choice of locations! We will be back again next year to shart a yearly tradition
