Needs a update
This is a nice hotel but feels like it needs some TLC. Our bathroom and outdoor deck needed some new tile and other work done. We only stayed one night so it was OK but I would have been upset if it was the majority of our vacation or for a big event. Best way to describe was "tired"

The exterior of the hotel resembles a medieval Villa. The restaurant is excellent. The only downside is that bedroom had a broken ac, and the bathroom needs a better work regrouding around the bathtub area.

Staff is great. Location is good and peaceful, but you definitely need a car. Just be aware that there's no aircon before May, so if you get a very hot day in April for eg, you need to sleep with your windows opened.

What view ?
We got a nice room but we paid extra for a 'balcony' expecting a beautiful view over the hills of Chianti. Instead we got a low concrete wall and a tree. Also, although the bedroom was nicely designed and presumably newly decorated, the bathroom was still in its original, old form. Plus breakfast was terrible, inedible bacon, sausage and eggs (admittedly we got there late but still they could have cooked some fresh)

The reception is really good, They are nice and professional. The breakfasts quality a bit low. In the room is missing the tea bowling water.

Hotel Radda is my favorite place to stay in Chianti. The staff is excellent, friendly, and helpful. Daniele at the front desk and Stefano the restaurant manager do an excellent job. I will be back!

I am from upstate NY and I have been to many 3,4 and 5 star resorts. This is one of the best I have ever stayed at, the staff is amazing and make you feel like it’s your home, the views are stunning and the amenities are world class. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay off the beaten path.

This is a beautiful property in Chianti. We enjoyed our 4 days here and wish it was longer. WiFi worked great and there was plenty of parking. Staff was very nice and knew the area well.

Our second time at CDH Radda. Room was a little tired and could do with a redecorating, but everything worked fine. Bed was a little firm for us. Breakfast and dinner were lovely.

Lovely hotel, excellent food, friendly staff and wonderful views, but slightly spoiled by the fact that our 1 year old wasnt allowed to use the indoor pool (which isn't advertised on their website) and the outdoor pool wasnt heated and due to the colder weather they refused to open it

This hotel is beautiful and located at the top of a Tuscan hill with 360 degree views of the Tuscan landscape, the toom was very spacious and clean, however, it is not a family orientated hotel. There is no much to do with the children and they decide when to allow guests in the pool, which in our case was never! So we had two very disapointed boys and 2 uhappy parents! The scrambled eggs for breakfast were extremely salty and the waiting staff did not know much about customer service, one of them even rolling her eyes at ys for daring using a table that was not completely set up. The reception staff however were very helpful and happy to suggest outings, with a good knowledge of the area, thanks to them, we found a couple of little tuscan gems.

Gorgeous in the hills of Tuscany. Restaurant was just ok. Property was under going winter renovations when we visited in March but I am sure in spring and summer it's grand. We had a lovely time!

This hotel is okay. 3.5 stars at most. It’s a bit isolated and not the most beautiful part of Tuscany. The room was comfortable. The tub in my room had some black mound around it. The shower head needed to be upgraded. Also the shower enclosure was limited so water escaped to the floor. There were good satellite channels in English. The breakfast was disappointing, the scambled eggs were cooked to rubber. The thing that really frustrated me was that the sauna/steam room and whirlpool close at 7pm and it’s 10 euro each time you enter. This was the reason I chose this hotel but I arrived too late to enjoy the facilities.

Wonderful location--peaceful stay.
*Do not drive up rt 102 from Siena*- unless you have a 4wd vehicle. Take rt 222. Hotel was clean, roomy & had a very professional presentation. Loved the pool & Turkish bath. Proximity to Radda is wonderful.

Relaxing stay- wine bar and restaurant was ok, good for free parking but not central to wineries. Little disappointed that the coffee ran out at breakfast and had to wait 10minutes for it to be refilled. Food kept running out too. Wine bar prices were average, snacks in evening were great. Room was average. Worst shower I’ve encountered on our travels.. just went everywhere and wouldn’t stop dropping one night. Wouldn’t stay again

Beautiful spot in Tuscany
We stayed here as one of our stops on our honeymoon. Beautiful views and hotel. Very friendly service and amenities. Loved the spa and there are plenty of local wineries around to visit.

The location is lovely. Really close to Radda in Chianti center (20 min walk, 2 min by car). The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. There was a very sweet Neapolitan waitress in the breakfast hall, unfortunately I did not get her name. In the area you have many wineries to visit. The wifi is beyond horrible. You can't even load emails from the room. Worked okay in the lobby. The absolute worst part of our stay was a god awful stench in the washroom which carried over to the entire room. We asked the front desk if something could be done about it. They said they would see, but not much to do about it because it was coming from the plumbing. I asked them if they could at least spray something or leave a spray bottle there but they did nothing. Thank heaven we were only there for 2 days. The hotel has great potential for many reasons but no one should have to pay and then live with that disgusting smell. And you shouldn't advertise free wifi if your system is not properly set up to offer the guests a decent wifi speed.
