“fantastic service”

All the physical amenities of the hotel were of a high order, but what really stood out was the service. Thais in general are very nice people and helpful but the staff of the D2 (horrible name - very industrial, but don't let it put you off) take service to a new level. Breakfast buffet is great and the best thing is that they remove dirty dishes immediately! Not like in many so-called 4 & 5 star hotels where your dirty dishes pile up on the table while the staff merrily ask if you would like more coffee but ignore the mess. Also you not only get clean dishes for your next course but also clean cutlery. I never could figure out why so many restaurants will give you a clean plate but very carefully leave the dirty cutlery on the table beside the clean plate. Why not leave the dirty plate too? Can't wait to try other Dusit hotels and resorts. The night market is less than 100 metres from the hotel. Once you have seen once night market in Asia you have seen them all. Cheap junk and fake brands. If you really must buy this garbage offer a quarter of the asking price and settle for no more than half.

“Hip hotel, great service”

We were surprised and wowed by the D2. The room (King studio suite) was a wonderful fit for family w/2 small kids, the food in the restaurant & room service was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was very warm and friendly and always provided great service in whatever request we had. Location was good too, walking distance to many of the temples/sites and the night market is right at the back door.

“Great hotel”

Very good service, location and nice rooms. The only drewback was that what they charged me for laundry was way too expensive. Other then that everything was great.

“One of the best in Bangkok”

I stayed at Dream Hotel 4 different times and were most pleased with everything. As it is a new hotel, everything is in top condition and very modern. The reception and the personel could not be any more proffesional or friendlier. Their breakfast is probably the best in the city. 5 minutes walk to the ASOK BTS station. A little pricey, but it is a 5 star quality. The only drawback for me was the lack of a bathtub in most rooms. Otherwise, I truly loved the Dream Hotel and would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

“Perfect”

Fantastic Location, D2 Bar outside, excellent food and beer. Wine is expensive but thats the same across the whole of Thailand. The rooms are brilliant a new gift left for you every day. We had a selection of local delicacies and even a Christmas stocking on Christmas Day!! The service is perfect youll never want for anything. Highly recommended.

“Great Stay in Chiang Mai!”

My husband and I stayed at D2 for 5 nights this past december 2007 on our honeymoon. The staff was warm and helpful and the room was great! Best hotel in Chiang Mai! It is located with in minutes walking of the night market and great places to eat (the lobby has a great place to eat too). If you can get the executive rate for a bit more a night because the free breakfast is well worth it.

“Excellent Hotel”

Very stylish and a "crispy new" hotel. Rather different in its ultra-modern design compared to the traditional Thai deco, but for me this felt very freshing. Great service and good value for money. Location is very good too - Night Bazaar is a minute away, and it's only 10 min walk to the Old Town or the Eastern Riverside.
