The hotel is set among trees and is located 2.8 km east
of the city centre and close to the super highway 11.
This tranquil and delightful hotel is a home away from home.
The manager and staff are all wonderful people and make
their guests feel so happy to be there.
The service is outstanding and surpasses anything I have
experienced anywhere .
The room was marvellous and comfortable, extremely
spacious, with a hot tub facility that adjoined the main
The hotel manager is a delightful and extremely efficient
lady , and all of the hotel staff are wonderful and friendly.
The staff were the same lovely people that I can remember
from one year ago.
The trees that surround the hotel are full of birds and squirrels, and provide nice shading to the lovely 1.2 metre deep salt water pool, while the dining area is just a few steps away overlooking the pool.
Food and drinks are available virtually all day until approximately 11 pm at night. A good variety of Thai and Western food is served. I particularly enjoyed their Thai
Breakfast is truly amazing with a huge variety of food and
Many of the guests that stay in the Rainforest Boutique
are from other parts of Thailand and S .E .Asia. My wife and I particularly enjoyed talking with them.
The remainder of guests came from many countries.
This is a truly international hotel.
The hotel has a good spa, an excellent travel and tour desk,
Transport to the city or surrounding areas is easy to obtain .
Really loved the location of this hotel, just down the road from the night markets. Close to river, and yet not far from the Town Centre. Quiet, clean and the staff are friendly. Fantastic bakery just around the corner and the best massage place pretty much 3 shops down. Highly recommend.
Would definately stay here again.

"The most friendly staff I have ever encountered at"
The grounds make you feel very private and secluded and It is an oasis of calm amongst the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai. It is obvious that the staff (especially Lily and Pearl) love what they do and take excellent care of travelers and the hotel itself. Take the 1.5 hour tour of the old temples (wear sandals as you need to remove your shoes several times to enter temples). Rooms are simple and spacious ( we had the Lanna Deluxe). The spa is excellent so book your treatments in advance. The included breakfast is excellent and more than you expect.
Beautifully presented Hotel within lovely surroundings on the banks of river. Close enough to old city for sightseeing and yet far enough away from most of the hustle and bustle of tourism for it to be a relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend to other travellers.
The Chiang Mai Boutique House was very clean and comfortable. THe staff was very helpful in booking Excursions. The pool is lovely. The location of the hotel is good as it is fairly close to the airport, walking distance to Restaurants and easy to get Tuk Tuks right out front. Breakfast leaves a little to be desired, but this is a minor thing to me. I felt very safe there.
We have been there for few days to relax and discover Chiang Mai during the quiet season
Hotel team has always been very helpful and very very gentle
The place is very charming and quiet (15/20 min via tuk tuk from city center)
The pool is amazing and very hot, room very clean with lot of space and a private balcony. The hotel is located in the land close to a small village. From outside your room door you can see farmer working on their rice culture...
We realy enjoyed that place and strongly recommand it
Don't forget to ask hotel team for a map to go to the hotel for the tuk tuk drivers who always know where you want to go, but very often get lost :-)
Pictures cannot capture the idyllic setting of this hotel. absolutely, unbelievably gorgeous. Rushing water sounds help sleep at night, staff's english not great, so leaves some room for misunderstanding when ordering dinner, but will do anything to ensure a pleasant stay. There was a group of about 25 people who travelled there just to do yoga, the setting was so tranquil. waterfalls and river running right through hotel. Lobby and restaurant all open air. It is about 45 minutes from town, so about 700 baht for fixed rate taxi, but minutes from Tiger Kingdom, and some other activities.
