“A reasonable room in a good location.”

“A pleasant surprise”

My husband and I stayed here while visting our daughter who attends a DC university. It was a very reasonable price. We had a spacious and very clean room. Breakfast in the restaurant was good. It was 2 blocks from the Metro in a very nice neighborhood -- lots of shops! We will go back -- I just wish we had found it before her junior year.

“Great location!”

Hotel very convenient for our needs. Very safe area, great shopping, restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were clean, room service was prompt, staff helpful. Free wi-fi was nice. No complaints.

Area recommendations

We were actually in town for a funeral, so we didn't do any sightseeing. This hotel is located on one of the major spokes into the DC area and would be convenient to all major sights.

“not luxurious but clean, cozy, and practical hotel”

I had a meeting in washington. My friend over there recommened this hotel. The hotel it self was very clean, cozy. location was good. a lot to eat, good shopping center, about 20 to 30min to daowntown washington.

“Will stay there again”

I really enjoyed my stay at the Courtyard Marriott. Its in a convenient location with shopping and restaurants close by. Most importantly though, the staff at the hotel (front desk and restaurant) were very friendly and really seemed to enjoy their jobs which really translated to great customer service. I will definitely stay there again the next time I'm in DC.

“Will stay there again.”

Only beef with the hotel was no real continental breakfast. They have a very good restaurant that serves breakfast which has good food and ok pricing. Otherwise, close to the subway into DC, free access to print off boarding passes, etc. If ever in DC again, will stay there.

“The place I'll stay when I have to return to Washington D.C.”

My daughter and I travel from Georgia to Pennsylvania, to Washington, D.C. We stayed in 3 different hotels during our trip. This was by far our favorite. We got to know the counter staff over our 6 nights spent there. They were very helpful at teaching us how to use the public transportation in D.C. Also there was a Whole Foods in walking distance to our hotel. Since our room was equipped with a small refrigerator we were able to buy food there and not rack up outrageous restaurant tabs. The parking garage was a bit spooky and hard to navigate due to the number of pillars placed all over the place, rather than in rows like most other garages I've been in.

Area recommendations

We spent much time at the monuments and in the Smithsonian Museum, admission at which are free. We particularly enjoyed Mount Vernon.
