Good location off the motorway in very pleasant grounds. felt very comfortable in and around the hotel.

“Poor value for money”

Considering the rack rate for this hotel - it is nothing very special. Having holidayed in the US frequently very poor amenities - no fridge or Air Conditioning. Bathroom is serious need of updating. On plus side beds very comfortable and room clean. Breakfast was poor value for money - cooked ok but selection of fruit and pastries very poor.

“DeVere Warrington”

Largely as expected for the price. Bathroom decor starting to get a bit tired and the TV was small without many channels. Free wi-fi everwhere was good. The gym was fantastic by hotel standards but would be a little disappointing as a leisure club. I would book the Warrington Village hotel next time in preference to this one.

“De Vere letdown”

I have stayed in many De Vere hotels and would generally expect top quality , this is not what I found with Daresbury Park . Day 1 found that the internet in my room was not working with evidence that this was a known issue . Point 2 disappointment was poor mobile signal (2G only).The next morning I reported the fault and would check back later that day. That evening evidence of someone having visited the room was present but the problem remained. The problem now meant that the room phone was also not working when the modem was plugged in . Reception said that this had been tested . I was relocated to a new room and the problem was resolved . In room wifi would have generally been preferred . This generally showed that customer satisfaction was not taken seriously. This cost me earnings in my ability to support my customer overnight. Also service in the restaurant was poor although the food was of good quality .
