“Great hotel at a great price ...”

Stayed at Pride Hotel for 2 nights during my recent business trip. It's a great hotel at a great price. Definitely checkout the roof-top restaurant (Dhaba). Only 2 things, the hotel management needs to look at - 1. provide wi-fi connection instead of just in-room wired internet connection 2. a better gym. current gym is a cramped one.

“I'll definitely stay here during my next visit”

My stay in this hotel was extremely pleasant. I would recommend this hotel my friends an relatives whenever they plan to visit Chennai. Great value for money.

“Madras Stay Jul 2010”

Madras was very dirty and open drainage smell everywhere Airport needs developing. People are very friendly and polite

“Completely satisfied”

We arrived very early in the morning and were concerned that this might not work for them. The hotel was ready and waiting. They have a large well trained staff and they handled everything flawlessly. The service was great and the restaurant on the lobby floor was wonderful. The breakfast was included an was a outstanding. We were completely satisfied and will book the Pride in Chennai and look for the chain in other towns as we visit India.

Area recommendations
This was a spiritual journey for us to meet with our teacher and group in India. India is rich in its spiritual heritage and Chennai is a great city for spiritual heritage and history. Chennai is a big city. Recognize that it takes time to get around. We hired a car and driver for the days we were there and that was an excellent way to go. India is often crowded and dirty and that's just the way it is. You have to get over that quickly to enjoy what is there.

“Non molto pulito”

Camere piccoline e non molto pulite. Soprattutto gli asciugamani (ho avuto il dubbio che fossero già usati). In bagno c'era un cattivo odore (simil fogna). Ristorante in terrazza a bouffet: non abbiamo mangiato perchè quando siamo arrivati e abbiamo visto il cibo non ci ha convinti. Ristorante al piano terra: abbiamo mangiato bene. Lunghissime le pratiche di check in....non trovavano la prenotazione! E il bagaglio in camera non arivava mai. Siamo dovuti scendere a sollecitarlo.

Area recommendations
Consiglio di alloggiare al GRT Regent. Il costo è simile, ma molto più pulito e migliori servizi.
Getting there
dall'aereoporto prendete un taxi pre pagato. Ci sono i banchetti all'aereoporto. Sono più sicuri e sono anche economici. Circa 400 rupie.
