“This is where I will always stay in Chennai!”
This hotel is a treasure to find at a good price. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, the clean rooms and the location. The staff was very warm...my birthday happened to fall during our stay and they made the day very special for me with a piece of cake at breakfast!
“Great hotel for catching early morning flights”
I booked the Lemon Tree for a stop over to catch an very early morning flight to the UK. Taxi to get to the hotel from the airport cost Rs280 (£4) by Gov't pre-paid taxi for the 20 minute journey. It cost about Rs900 (£14) by hotel limo for the 10 minute journey back to the airport. Very convenient and highly recommended. The only problem was that the bed was SOOOO comfy, getting out of it at 3.00am after only 4 hours sleep was the toughest thing I have had to do since walking to the North Pole in a teddy bear outfit to raise funds for the Gurkha Welfare Trust. These are seriously comfy beds ...
“Was Okay-except the shower..”
Everything about the hotel was fine, except the shower did not work well, and water was only trickling through 3 holes in the shower, which makes it difficult for travellers who have travelled long and are looking forward to a nice hot shower.
“Good hotel but bit out of town”
Very nice, clean and comfortable rooms with small but adequate bathroom, good shower, cable tv with several english channels, AC and fan, plenty of storage space, mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities and 24hr room service. Staff were all very polite, friendly and helpful. Nice outdoor pool and popular hotel bar with pool table and play station! Food in restaurant pretty good though pricey and I did get sick on the prawn curry though this was probably just bad luck and the staff were concerned and as helpful as possible. Breakfast ok. Pretty expensive overall as is business hotel, prob around 4 star. Wifi is also chargeable at quite a high rate. Unfortunately let down by location as quite far from the centre - auto rickshaw to centre takes at least half an hour.

We were satisfied with overall arrangements and everything was explained in detail. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip.we will use Expedia again and also recommend to others.

This was a good choice for the price. Though the hotel and the rooms seem a little small, excellent location. Amazing decor and a neat little hotel right at the heart of Chennai. Excellent for business travel. I am staying here from now on anytime I travel to Chennai.

“low budget hotel in centre of the city.”
1. Room size is small. 2. New room and kept very clean. 3. Toileterary things are excellent. 4. Breakfast is okay. 5. In-room dining foods are not acceptable. quantity and quality is poor. Not worth for the money. 6. Bar was not available during my stay. 7. Overall acceptable and it is worth for the money paid for the room.
