Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed (the only day in the week that it is closed.) It was not a bad hotel, just not exciting or memorable. Maybe if we had been there during the day or tried the restaurant, I might have more information to add to this review.
Near the main train station and the room was very comfortable and quiet for resting. Staff was inviting, helpful in providing directions and calling taxi. Lovely panoramic restaurant was pleasant and sunny for breakfast, with a high quality assortment of regional food.
Staff spoke english and were friendly, more than happy to help.
Cleaning staff had access to my money and gadget within my room and took none of it. Instead placing it all neatly on the table awaiting my return. Very well done.

We chose this hotel as it was close to the Sachsenring. We booked a suite for four nights. This was worth every penny of the extra money as our room was very spacious with a downstairs living area bedroom upstairs and access to a balcony giving us lovely views of the city. The room was very clean and comfortable and well equipped with all mod cons. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.The only downside was that the hotel is located twenty minutes walking distance from the town centre though there is a bus service during the day and plenty of free parking near by. We were very impressed with this hotel and would wholeheartedly recommend it
