We arrived late after the pool had closed but the owner saw the disappointment in my children's faces and opened up for us, all the staff were friendly and very accommodating. The room decor was so 80's I was expecting Duran Duran or ABC to knock on the door and ask where the party was, very clean though with a great shower. The highlight of the visit however was the restaurant which offers 5 star gourmet food - we splashed out and had the top menu with a different wine with every course, not cheap at 68 euros but worth every penny and a great way to spend our last night in France. We wil definitely return.

Stayed here as a stop over on our journey home. Staff very friendly but my French wasn't good enough to understand everything said unfortunately. The home cooked food smelt delicious and was fairly cheap but we didn't sample any ourselves.

What an absolutely lovely hotel at a very good price. This hotel looks like it's recently been refurbished. It has a lovely bar area and the rooms are very nicely furnished with comfortable beds and lovely bathroom. It's within very easy walking distance to the centre and the staff were very helpful. I really couldn't fault it.
Excellent hotel in the heart of Troyes .Brilliant stop over with garage facilities -book in advance and get entry number as about 100 metres from hotel but at other end one way system!!
Hotel was compact buta lovely room and shower to die for .Very good

We stayed here for two nights as we'd left it too late to book anything reasonable in Troyes. The place is a bit quirky but the room was clean and had everything you'd expect but the air conditioning didn't work. Parking is on-site and seemed safe enough. It's about 3/4 to 1 hours' walk from Troyes, although there is a bus stop right outside and what seemed to be a frequent service (but not on a Sunday when we wanted to use it).
The grounds around the motel are well-kept but there are no tables and chairs to sit and drink a bottle of wine and enjoy the local cheese.
There is only one place to eat close by - right next door. This is a Turkish take-away/café which is OK and very reasonable if you're just after kebab or pizza-type food. Unfortunately this closed in Sunday so either a long walk or a drive for other restaurants.
Breakfast is provided in the quirky US diner-style room. But this is clean and had enough tables for all guests when we were there. However, we thought the breakfast was going to be €6.45 and it turned out it was €9 each. This was far too high for two small pieces of bread, a doughnut, yoghurt. reconstituted juice and one cup of tea or coffee (although there were also slices of cheese and meat available one morning).

"Chic hotel, good location, crisp white sheets....."
We stayed here to break up the drive from the South of France back to Calais. The reception staff were welcoming and friendly. Our room was the least expensive standard double, but was very comfortable with a decent sized bathroom and separate toilet. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed linen crisp and bright white, the towels and bathrobes soft and plentiful! You can sense that they take pride in the quality of things. We didn't have breakfast but it looked like a very impressive spread.

We stayed in Troyes on a stopover and this hotel was a lovely place to start our holiday. We arrived on Sunday evening when their restaurant is closed, so they suggested and booked an excellent brasserie in town for us. The hotel is a wonderful ancient building, beautifully restored and spotlessly clean. Expensive but interesting breakfast.
