Lovely pub restaurant (though the food was a bit pricey, but very nice). Very good location for exploring the Cotswolds. The staff were very nice. The rooms were a bit plain, and there was no guest lounge other than the pub.
We stayed at Cowley Manor for 2 nights after our wedding and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The hotel facilities and grounds were fantastic and the food excellent, especially breakfast. I found the evening meal we had in the restaurant slightly over-priced at £118 (exc. tip) for 2 x 3 course meal plus a £26 bottle of wine but that didn't detract from the overall experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Cowley Manor to anyone who fancies a relaxing couple of days away, particularly if the weather is good which enables the hotel grounds to be enjoyed to their fullest.

Courteous staff helped register us and provided a pass to access free parking. We had also arrived only 5 minutes before the restaurant closed though restaurant waiting staff seated us quickly and took our order. Room very comfortable.

Lovely location, nice clean hotel with very considerate hosts. Comfortable bed, nice dinner and wonderful breakfast. Loved the bacon, grilled to a dry crispness.
Only niggle I had was that the mirror on the dressing table was one of those swivel ones and it would not stay where I wanted it!
I also thought the bed could do with a valance so that you did not see the base fabric and the net curtains are fraying at the edges which you don't normally see as it is behind the curtain, until you open or close the window. These did not detract from the pleasure of our stay at all, just little points that let the rest of the hotel down a bit.
