The restaurant is perfect for the busy tourist and has a fine menu. The Hotel is comfortable and conveniently located one half block from the main street. The staff are particularly helpful and can assist with last minute details.

"Great Hotel for our stay un San Pedro de Atacama"
Excellent, the hotel is very comfortable, the staff is great, very friendly and willing to help us in any way they can, location is perfect close enough to the center of town to access any restaurant or tour agency with a short walk but far enough to have no trouble with any possible noise from Caracoles street.
When we arrived, late at night, the owner was there to greet us with open arms, felt like a homecoming. During the 4 days we stayed there, the owner helped us to pick the best tours, organized everything, made sure we had the best time ever. Breakfast in the morning was great, and at night there was the option as well to enjoy the hostal menu, which was nice and very reasonable priced. After 4 months of traveling in south America, hotels and hostals in every price range, this is our number one place to stay!!
Everything is very new in this hotel. Breakfast and one of lunch or dinner is included, hot water and private bathroom in each hotel room. We like this place. However, this hotel is a little far from the town San Pedro de Atacama. We took the taxi going to/returning from the town; the taxi costs 3000 peso each way. We tried to walk back to the hotel one day, but we got lost; then, we took a taxi.
During the day, inside the room is hot if the window is not open. In the night, the room temperature drops. First we could not fall to sleep, and then we woke up feeling cold. Be prepared for this drastically changing climate.
Very happy with hotel and staff. The staff at reception were incredibly helpful!
I only have one very minor complaint. They should use "Filtered water to make their coffee with". I think they must use tap water as the coffee was not very good. One other suggestion. I was very happy over all and highly recommend this hotel. One suggestion to the management. Some of their staff spoke English and some did not. The ones that do not speak English in some cases should get someone who does to help them. Everything else was fantastic and I would go back again.
